Dear Families,

 
Hi! My name is Ms. Cavnar and I will be
your child’s teacher for the 2019-2020
school year! I am so excited to be apart of the
first grade team at Tarleton Elementary
School, but more importantly, I am thrilled to
get to know you and your child. This year is
going to be filled with learning, exploration and
new adventues that we get to embark on together including
when we are able to visit the Fort Worth Muesum of
Natural Science. I can not wait to learn all about you all,
but first here is a little bit about me—

Also, I recently graduated from the BEST University in Texas,

Tarleton State University. My degree is in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-
6th with ESL Certification. My hopes and dreams are that I am able to
connect with each and every one of these amazing students because
that is why I am in the profession. Yes, teaching new concepts is important but that can not
happen until relationships and bonds are formed. My classroom will be ran on 3 simple
principles which are trust, respect and love. I hope that those few things give you all a little
bit of insight into my life. I am awaiting the moments where I get to learn all about YOU!
Lastly, I am genuinely excited to teach your child and for your child to teach me. I fully
believe that I learn more from them through these next 180 days than I could ever teach them,
so thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn and grow as an educator.
