DAILY PLAN
Lesson Title: Picasso shapes

S & S Statements: 1st grade did really well creating their imaginary animals that we want to
teach more about abstract art. Teaching the children how to find
shapes within a object and coming to the understanding that
complex objects and is made up of simple shapes. The children will
be using premade shapes and after using examples during the
demonstration children will be able to understand how to create
abstract art.

Teaching children how art can be abstract by using simple shapes to create a complex object they
see everyday.
