1. SHRM survey findings – Jobs of the future “Data Analysis Skills” - 2016
Objective: To inform workforce planning efforts for the jobs of the future in area of data analysis for
next 5 years

Areas covered: Areas that covered in data analysis ex: •Data scientist •Statistician •Market research
analyst •Financial analyst •Research manager

Position level: entry level to execute level. 60% of these level include ability to interpret and
communicate data analysis results

Findings:

 82% of the organization expect to have the position which requires data analysis skills by 2016
 78 percentage of organization reported difficulty in recruiting for data analysis position \

Common function areas for data analysis position: Below factors include full-time position
 Account and Finance 71% , HR 54% , Business Administration 50% . In this, based on level of
management 79% of middle-level management and 73%of individual contributions which
require seniors management
Basic skill level requirement
 basic skill level based the requirements depends on bachelor degree of sound 35% where is 14
% of associate degree

Moderate Skill level Requirement


 In this jobs do not specify the specific field of study in moderate skill 83 percentage of most
relevant requirements are dependent on organizational need
