 Explores and begins to distinguish among the sounds of various
musical instruments.
 Responds to and appreciates the art, music, movement and
drama of own and other cultures by viewing, discussing and
creating.

Materials:
 A variety of 26 different instruments (boom whackers, djembes,
hand drums, jingle bells, claves, etc.)

Process:
1. Set up 26 different instruments in a row.
2. Tell the students that as you read the book, one instrument will play
on each letter. Start from your right to left.
3. Give the students a cue to play and a cue to stop playing when it is
their turn to play their instrument.
