Required heat treatment tine and tenperatures when 25Cr-20Ni (type 310) material is specified, the tube or pipe shall be subjected to heat treatment which will provide an austenitic average grain size of Ho. 6 or coarser as determined and classified by ASTM £112. 2. COMPONENTS AND MATERIALS 2.1 Tubes and Fittings 2.1.1 Unless otherwise noted on the Purchase Order, all materials designated by mark numbers on design drawings and listed in the Bi11 of Haterial, will be supplied by the Purchaser and shipped to coil fabricator, The balance of materials needed to conplete coil or crossover assemblies shall be supplied by coil fabricator. Material supplied shall conform to the Specifications listed under Article 1.2 and ‘on the Design Drawings. 2.1.2 When required, the Purchaser shall supply the fabricator with mil1 test reports necessary to determine requirenents for heat treatrent after bending. 2.2 Intermediate Tube Supports Unless otherwise noted on the Purchase Order, intermediate tube supports, when shown and specified on coil drawings wil be supplied by the Purchaser and shipped to coil fabricator. 2.3. End Tube Sheets and Coil Lifting Beans 2.3.1 End tube sheets including insulation and coil 1ifting beans when shown and specified on coil drawings shall be supplied by coil fabricator. 2.3.2 The insulation and anchorage for end tube sheets shall be specified on the coi] drawings. Proposed proprietary castables must be submitted to the Purchaser for approval and shal} include al? necessary physical properties. 3. FABRICATION 3.1 General 3.1.1 Cofls and crossovers shall be fabricated into complete coil assemblies as detailed on drawings. Assenbly of coils with their end tube sheets and intermediate tube supports is required unless otherwise stated on the drawings or Order. 3.1.2 Fabrication of coils and crossovers shall be in accordance with ASHE 631.3. When another code, rule, or regulation is specified, the fabricator shall conform to those requirements and the requirenents of this specification which do not conflict. 43.1.3 Proprietary insulating castable material for end tube supports (when applicable) shat be applied in accordance with the castable manufacturer's instructions. 3.2, Bending 3.2.1 The bending of the cofls shall be done in either the hot or cold condition and shal? conform to ‘the requirements of Table 1. All bends shall be free of wrinkles, bulges, kinks, and other serious defects (detectable by visual inspection) and shall meet out-of-roundness requirements of ASHE 831.3. 3.2.2 bhen heat treatrent after bending is required in accordance with Table I, it shal? conform to the requirenents of Table 11. ) Fem 1000 (601) TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION ‘SHOP FABRICATION OF PROCESS COILS ‘AND EXTERNAL CROSSOVERS B21-3F-94 ‘DATE: JUN 1994 PAGE 3 OF 5. ‘TABLE 1 ~ HEAT TREATMENT REQUIREMENTS AFTER BENDING TYPE OF WATERTAL COLD BENDING WOT BENDING (Hote 1) {Note 2) Carbon Stee Tone [fone Carbon 1/2 Wo Steel Rone None T-1/4 009 Cr-No Stee?
