Shortly after learning of these songs, the TKE national office suspended the chapter’s activities and the University placed the chapter on interim suspension pending a conduct investigation. The Office of Student Conduct issued a Notice of Investigation to the chapter regarding allegations that the chapter encourages sexual harassment and/or sexual assault, hazing, and illegal alcohol and drug use within the chapter. The Office of Student Conduct is currently investigating the chapter’s activities and will determine if the chapter violated the 2018 University Relationship Agreement, the University Student Code of Conduct, and/or the University policy on sexual harassment. The University remains in contact with the TKE national office regarding the status of their investigation. The Office of Student Conduct will post on the department website any findings of responsibility for violations of the Student Code of Conduct by the TKE Fratemity.
