Task: Create an informational poster and oral presentation about a modern


artist.

Please have a look at the artists listed below. You will have to choose a name out
of a bowl and create an informational poster and present it orally to the class
about the artist that you choose. We will be focusing on Modern Artists.

2. What was their main style of creating art or what movement did they
create? (ex. Impressionism, Cubism, Pop Art)
3. Give a short definition of the movement they worked with.
4. What medium did they work with? (What kind of materials did they
mostly use)?
5. Write about some interesting information about the artist (fun facts).
6. Who are three other artists that your artist may have worked with and
may have been influenced by?
7. Find a portrait of your artist.
8. Find at least 3 pieces of artwork created by your artist and discuss why
you chose them to represent your artist on the poster. You should also
about each piece of art, discussing why the artist created it.
