Please write two paragraphs summarizing the following:

General description of weekly work completed for the research paper.
Currently, what I am doing in order to expand my research paper is decide what sources
and information to present within the research paper. There have been audio, textual, statistical,
and perhaps even visual sources I will plan to use in relation to the topic I have chosen to
investigate. I hope that these sources will be able to provide readers the background and
knowledge about the inequality that still exist today, within the public school system. Moreover,
with the personal connection that I have with the topic and argument I want to voice out these
issues and increase awareness of it to numerous individuals.
Some of the information I plan to extract from these sources includes discussing at-risk
students from minority groups or low socioeconomic status, the unequal distribution of funds
with supporting statistical evidence, and what the achievement gap means. Through the
discussion of what leads to inequity in education I also plan to mention the solutions and actions
that have been put into place to address issues. These include organizations established to
identify the inequalities in education and the protests or campaigns that have been organized to
bring a voice to these issues. Therefore, I do have an idea of the points I want to include in the
essay but I am currently struggling on how to organize the information along with my own
personal input on the topic into the research paper in order for the ideas to flow. Therefore, I plan
to revise the points originally presented in the literary narrative and add a slightly more academic
tone that is incorporated when writing a research paper in order to include information extracted
from the reviewed sources below.
