Dear Administrator,
I have had the pleasure ofworking with Amy Gair as her cooperating teacher for the last 3
months and e垂oyed watching her growth as a student teacher. Amy has shown a great deal of
enthusiasm, and she has consistently conducted herself in a very professional mamer. She has always
been extremely pleasant with students, ParentS, and staff.
Amy taught in a selfLcontained 4th grade classroom, COntaining both regular and special
educations students. She therefore had the benefit of differentiating every subject’s curriculun to
benefit her students. During her time in 4th grade, Amy would seek out extra materials to enrich the
Curriculum. She was responsible for developing and teaching a thematic unit. As part ofthis unit she
Created leamihg centers for students, and provided the class with materials to interact while leaming.
She also included technoIogy as part of this theme by developing several interactive NeaIPOd and
Kahoot lessons. Amy demonstrated her willingness to be a team player during her student teaching
experience by providing 4th grade colleagues with lessons she created and materials she used to carry
Out these lessons. She graded papers in a11 su切ect areas, and often used rubrics, and retumed them
PrOmPtly.
One of Amy’s highlights is her ability to reflect, Seek out guidance/advice, and improve her
enhance student leaming across a11 subjects. She worked cIosely with Title I students and took it upon
herselfto modify lessons and assigrments appropriately.
Ms・ Amy Gair has done an exemplaryjob throughout her placement. She has been carmg,
enthusiastic, insightful, energetic, and professional. Students respect her and respond to her teaching
Style extremely we11. She is highly conscientious and possesses ski11s that often resemble an outstanding
Veteran educator. I give her the highest recommendation without any reservations.
Sincerely,
Deborah Ann Elek
