Feast of the Holy Family

Greetings of Peace.

With the beginning of the new year, we usher in a new liturgical schedule. I would like
to point out some changes that may be rather subtle. First, the Wednesday evening
5:15pm Mass, up until now in Spanish, will now be in English. The Latino community
will continue to celebrate Mass in Spanish at noon on Sundays in the first floor church.
Second, the Monday through Friday mid-day confession schedule will now be from
10:30am to 1:30pm. The remainder of the confession schedule will remain the same.
Third, we are adding a 7pm Mass on Sunday night. On Sunday nights only, the Shrine
will now be open until 8pm.

Other changes are more significant and may impact more people. We are eliminating the
4:15pm Mass on Saturday, and changing several Mass times mid-day on Sunday. Please
help us to communicate these changes. Thank you for your cooperation and we
apologize for any inconvenience that these changes cause. All schedule changes are
effective on January 2, 2019.

We had great turnouts for Mass on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We friars thank
everyone who made the celebrations possible.

Fr. Thomas Conway, OFM

Executive Director

Year- End Gifts
As the end of the year approaches, we invite you to consider making a tax-deductible gift to the Shrine. There
are a number of ways to make this gift.
Cash/check - may be given in person or via the U.S mail. Please note that the gift must be postmarked by
December 31 to be counted for a 2018 tax deduction.
• Credit card – Make a gift on line – www.stanthonyshrine.org with a credit card. Or, you may call the
Development Office (857-206-7243) and give your credit card over the telephone. Our electronic
giving kiosks in the lobby, and at the information booth are two other options for credit card gifts.
• IRA Charitable Rollover – If you or someone you know is 70 ½ or older and has a traditional
Individual Retirement Account (IRA), you can use your required minimum distribution to support the
Shrine through a Charitable Rollover gift. Contact the administrator of your plan and ask that your
distribution be a charitable rollover to the Shrine.
• Matching Gifts – A corporate matching gift is a tremendous way to increase your personal gift to the
Shrine. We encourage you to take advantage of your employer’s matching gift program.
