2. Page 7 Formworks
a. Arrange sequence of works from preparation of formworks, installation and removal.
b. Indicate that design of formworks for critical concrete construction shall be submitted for review.
c. Include and specify materials type to be used for forms including accessories.
d. Include formworks tolerances specified and mentioned in ACI 117.
e. Include provision of 20mm chamfer on all exposed edges of concrete structure.
f. Indicate that form tying device will not be embedded in the concrete

4. Page 9 Anchor Bolt and Embedded Item
a. Include and specify types of anchor bolts, embedded items and accessories.
5. Page 10 Concrete Pouring
a. Check spelling of “Concrete”
b. Include Civil QC Inspector to check the truck delivery note to establish that the correct type of concrete has been
delivered.
c. Mention involvement of third party technician to include it duty and responsibility.
d. Include location where concrete samples are to be taken.
e. Sampling of concrete shall be using a cylinder not a cube.
f. Frequency of concrete cylinder sampling shall be every 110 cubic meter or fraction thereof per day and every type of
concrete.
g. Indicate minimum and maximum concrete slumo and temperature.
h. Indicate that concrete shall be use within 90 minutes after water has been added at the plant. Tampering of mix by
adding water will not be allowed.
i. Indicate maximum layer thickness of placed concrete.
j. Indicate maximum drop of concrete.
k. Indicate that use of bagger mixer is not allowed.
6. Page 11 Stripping of Formworks
a. Indicate duration of form removal as per ACI 347.
7. Include section for surface preparation and moisture test prior to bitumen coat application.
