Twenty-first century way of living is now a breakthrough, probably the most pressing issue of our

society today. This is my very reason of signifying my genuine intention to be part of the team in realizing its
goals to help us navigate our future in achieving core competence such as collaboration, literacy, critical
thinking and problem solving.

At present, the appeal to indulge in a scuffle of relative challenges sounds practical for the
humanity that comprises the unabridged capacity of human intellect and we are left with no preference
but to stand as strong leaders.

The straightforward dogma of existence, therefore, is to go with the flow of the endless
challenges of today. We are faced with different issues and problems in every field of living- education,
technology, business, medicine, agriculture, and industry. However, the challenges in all these areas are
subjected to be given possible solutions by many leaders through innovative programs fronted by the
different leading organizations in the world.

I am Jordan Pauig, a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics-Cum


Laude at Isabela State University- Cabagan Campus, Philippines. I am currently enrolled in my Master’s
degree in the same university. I passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers last September 2017 with a
board rating of 88.20%. At present, I am employed at Advance Montessori Education Center of Isabela
Inc. (AMECI), Maligaya, Tumauini, Isabela as a teacher and the head of the elementary department.

During my undergraduate studies, I was linked to different organizations in and out of the university. I
served as a student-leader and a student-journalist for four years which brought several awards and citations in
the field of leadership and campus journalism. In the year 2016, I was selected to be one of the scholars of the
Temasek Foundation-Specialists Community And Leadership Exchange (TF-SCALE) who joined in the 5-
week seminar and training on sustainable community development, design thinking methodology, and
leadership in Singapore. This opportunity was immediately followed by another chance after being selected to
join in the 2-week long Learning Express Program-Isabela which focused on upholding the quality of living in
the remote areas of Angadanan, Isabela.

The current complications in the different areas of living bid me to gaze into this opportunity to
further look into the future and mark a demand to safeguard the fulfillment of my labors as I carry the
bravery of principle, the composed perseverance, and the perpetual confidence of the generation. The
present and the forthcoming years for the people are just manifestation of a complete quantity of toil in
advancement. As a professional teacher, a molder of the youth, and a member of the society, it is my duty
to live up to the demand of uplifting the block of excellent principles. It is my mission to execute my
greatest round in portraying the face of tomorrow. I believe that this endeavor will fuse us pleasantly, with
eagerness, collaboration, and fidelity--- advancing headed for an innovative norm, an elevated model, and
a determined but feasible encounter.

Hence, I expect that this opportunity through the Merit360 UK program will be a worthwhile
avenue to foster my capability to lead my fellow youths in taking the responsibility to become proactive
of the issues happening not only within the nation but rather, in the whole world. In addition, I consider
that joining in the program is learning new knowledge, skills, and experiences which will surely help me
deal with the underlying problems of society under good governance.

Anent to my experience during my college’s days as a student-leader and a campus student-


journalist, I, likewise, expect to contribute to the program in a way that I will communicate clearly the
concepts and ideas relative to the goals of the organization while taking other’s idea for consideration.
In relation to educational setting, we have touched this period when erudition is extensively of
learning amidst a limitless educational realm. Hence, it is a must to be equal to achieve the standards that
hold of the standards of universal and limitless scholastic community.

After the program is completed, I will contrive additional prototype to the society of education on
the balanced fundamentals prepared by those in the government that communicates us and connects us to
visualize wherever we are at present. Also, I will arrange group discussions with the youth leaders in the
community to share the ideas on combatting climate change through project and program proposals. That
plan will be converted on and will be carried on to brightness supplying intelligence, leadership, as well
as encouragement to the imminent leaders. Moreover, being a classroom teacher, I will share the fresh
knowledge, skills, and practices to my fellow teachers, administrators, and students of the institution and
to other youths in the community through social media relevant for innovation and development of
projects and programs.

I believe that being part of your organization will greatly contribute in my professional development
as a teacher, an innovator, and a molder of future leaders.
