METHOD
In a nonstick pan add 3 cups sugar and 2 cups water mix well
let it boil well from all sides
In a bowl mix the cornflour with 2 cups water squeeze juice of 2 lemons add food colouring
of ur choice and mix everything well
Once sugar syrup starts boiling well add cardomon powder then add tha above cornflour
mixture mix well
Simmer gas and cook on low heat stirring continuously for next 10 to 15 minutes
Once the mixture thickens a bit increase the gas to high flame again and cook till the halwa
thickens more this will take only few minutes
Lower the heat again add chopped cashews and the ghee little by little till all ghee is
incorporated in halwa properly keep stirring continuously so that no lumps are formed and all
the ghee is absorbed into the halwa
Keep a dish or thali greased ready pour the prepared halwa and flatten it from all sides with a
spatula
Remember the more u cook the halwa the more chewy it will become so cook as per ur taste
