architect Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869-1944) & is tree-lined & spacious. Legend has it that the Pandavas of epic
Mahabharata, the august heroes, founded Delhi around 1200 BC & the name of the city was Indraprastha.
03 Day: Delhi - Rishikesh - (240 kms: 5 – 6 hrs) - Haridwar (22 kms: 30 mins: One way)
After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Rishikesh. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. After
relaxation, take an excursion to Haridwar, visiting Daksh Mahadev temple - also known as Shri Daksheshwar
temple, attributed to King Daksha who was brought back to life by Lord Shiva, Gorakhnath Temple, Bharat Mata
Temple - the representation of India in the form of a mother goddess, Mansa Devi Temple - one of the most
popularand most visited temples of Haridwar. In the evening attend the most speculative “Aarti” at the holy River
Ganga. Aarti takes place on the ghat in the evening, after sunset. A group of Brahmans hold huge fire bowls in
their hands and offer their holy mantras to the river Ganges, Shiva - the Hindu God of destruction, Surya - the Sun
God and the entire Universe. The devotees then offer flowers and earthen lamps - diyas – to the river Ganges, in
order to pay due regard to their ancestors in heaven. The scenario at Har- Ki-Pauri at the time of Ganga-Aarti is
mesmerizing. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Haridwar - the gateway to the Gods, with its scenic blend of the hills and plains is a sight many fall in love with.
One of the oldest living cities, Haridwar has been in people's mind from the period of Buddha to the British advent
and still holds a special place in people’s hearts today. Its long history dates back to the pre-historic times,
getting its name from the rishis. Kapilsthan is the mythological name for Haridwar. A legend goes that the
Suryavnshi Prince - Bhagirath performed penance here to salvage the souls of his ancestors who had perished
due to the curse of the sage Kapila. The penance was answered and the river Ganga trickled forth from Lord
Shiva's locks and its bountiful waters revived the sixty thousand sons of King Sagara. Drops of nectar churned
out from the primordial ocean falling at the four sites of the Kumbhmela including Haridwar. The Kumbhmela
occurring once in every 12 years and the Ardha Kumbha Mela, occurring once in six years are the biggest draws
of Haridwar. Besides being a religious destination, it has served as the center for learning arts, science and
culture since many many years.
04 Day: Rishikesh:
Today spend your day learning & performing Yoga, the surest way to complete health. In the afternoon, attend the
Ayurveda lessons and therapy. Later take a sightseeing tour of Rishikesh visiting Bharat temple - named after
Lord Ram’s second brother ‘Bharat’ even though the presiding deity of this temple is Lord Vishnu, Shatrughan
Temple - an ancient temple dedicated to Shatrughan, the youngest brother of Lord Rama, Laxman Jhoola,
Rishikund and Raghunath Temple – with its legendary tank where Lord Rama took bath is a popular bathing spot
for pilgrims. In the evening you may opt for Ganga Aarti. Overnight at the hotel.
Rishikesh, also known as the 'place of sages' is located at the confluence of the Chandrabhaga and Ganga River.
It is believed that God by the name of 'Hrishikesh' had appeared as the answer to the hard penances by Rabhiya
Rishi and henceforth the place derived its name. Meditation, yoga and religion draw thousands of tourists to this
holy site every month. For the adventure seekers, Rishikesh is the perfect spot for trekking expeditions to the
Himalayan peaks and rafting on the ganga. The International Yoga Week, attracting participation from across the
world is held here every year in February on the banks of the Ganga River.
05 Day: Rishikesh:
Early morning wake up for Pranayam& advance technique of Yoga. After Yoga you will do PanchKarma
treatment.In the afternoon, after lunch attend the Ayurveda lessons and therapy. Later enjoy city tour visit,
Triveni Ghatto be found in the heart of town, is the most famous bathing ghat, where most pilgrims take a holy
dip earlier than they visit the various temples. An amazing sight here is the evening Arati, a ceremony
accompanied by lights, drums and chanting, with the entire ghat lit with lamps glowing from a distance. Later
return to the hotel for overnight stay.
06 Day: Rishikesh

Early morning yoga class followed by relaxation of body & mind. After relaxations learn about breath awareness
exercise & stretching exercise with one of well recognize personality.In the afternoon, attend the Ayurveda
lessons and therapy. Later opt to visit, Vashist Gufa. The entire drive is along the river Ganges towards the
source for about an hour. Arrive and explore Vashistha Goofa (cave), where famous saint Vasistha, meditated.An
ideal place for transcendental meditation.Overnight at the hotel.
Ayurveda, means the science of healthy living, derives its name from the Sanskrit words, AYUSH (LIFE) and VEDA
(KNOWLEDGE). It looks at healing in a holistic fashion. The physical treatment has overtones of philosophical
and psychological approaches too. Any ailment in the body is viewed as a result of a combination of factors with
special reference to the components of diet. It is here that Ayurveda recognizes that each individual is different
and so treatment too should be customized. The Ayurvedic principles are found in detail in Atharva Veda, one of
the four Vedas of Hinduism.
07 Day: Rishikesh - Shiv Puri (30 kms: ½ hr):
Morning after breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Shivpuri, arrive & check into the hotel. Morning is free at
leisure. Afternoon take jungle walk in the reserve forest around the Nature Camp Resort. After visit return back to
the hotel for overnight stay. Overnight at Shivpuri.
08 Day: Shiv Puri:
Early morning wake up for a Yoga class followed by relaxation of body & mind. After yogic breakfast drive to
Byasi / Kaudiyala to start the rafting up to Shivpuri. Arrive Byasi briefing on safety, raft maneuvering, team spirit
development etc. Today we exercise team work and hit the most exciting rapids on Ganges. One can have lunch
at nature camp resort. Free time for own activities. Evening meditation and relaxation followed by campfire at
camp.
09 Day: Shiv Puri:
Early morning wake up for one and half hour drive to Hindolakhal, arrive and start trek to Kunjapuri. The one hour
trek goes through thick forest till we reach the top i.e. Kunjapuri. After exploring the area for some time join the
class for Asanas, relaxation & meditation. Witness the sunrise on Greater Himalayan peaks and afterwards trace
your steps back to Nature camp resort. Free time for own activities. After lunch drive to Chilla for a wildlife Safari.
Arrive Chilla, briefing on jungle discipline, animal behavior & low impact eco friendly outdoors. Drive back to the
hotel for overnight stay.
10 Day: Shiv Puri - Delhi (270 Kms - 6 hrs)
Early morning advance yoga class with question answer session helping in assessment of change in personality
during the course. After breakfast raft down from the Shivpuri to Rishikesh assessing leadership qualities, team
spirit and training for rescue. After lunch drive to Delhi. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Evening is free for
relaxation. One can explore the local markets, Overnight stay at Delhi.
11 Day: Delhi - Hometown (By Air)
Morning after breakfast check out the hotel and drive to Delhi airport to board the flight for your hometown. On
departure tour concludes with happy memories.
