Pre-lesson
1. Pupils sing the song “Smart friends”.

Lesson development
1. Teacher displays the vocabulary and phrases that they have
learned on the slide show.
2. Pupils read the words and phrases together with teacher.
ACTIVITIES 3. In group of four, pupils read the text given in the worksheet.
4. Pupils take turn to read aloud the text (chained reading).
5. Pupils circle the correct answers based on the text.
6. In pairs, pupils choose the correct responses to fill in the speech
bubbles by using the correct punctuations.
7. Gallery walk (Pupils correct their friends’ work.)

Post lesson
1. Pupils play poison box (pick a sentence strip and read).
