Note to the educator

Do you have any students or colleagues who are mourning the death of a loved one? In any
school community, we unfortunately experience death at some point during the year. It’s a
part of life. We need to fill in the gap for those who are mourning. Bring a meal, share some

time with them to supply their needs. Listen. Comfort them with physical needs. Cover their
spiritual needs by praying for their families by name. Find out who needs prayers by asking
how you can pray for them. Then pray prayers of comfort for the grieving. It’s a difficult time
and the love of Jesus Christ is the only Healer.
