This Week’s Focus​: Students will begin to use number lines, base ten blocks 
and other strategies in math to add and subtract up to three digit numbers within 
1,000. We will also continue skip counting in multiple ways. Students will 
continue our unit on place value with comparing numbers. We will continue a 
theme on cowboys and the west this week. We will continue working on 
narrative writing that includes a beginning, middle and ending. Students will 
also be working on informational pieces this nine weeks with topic sentences 
and supporting facts.
