CCD NEWS

2nd Annual “Chocolate Touch” is Coming! ALL parish members age


60+ are invited to the Chocolate Touch this Wednesday Feb 13 at 7:00-8:10 in
school basement to work with 1st and 2nd graders of CCD to make Valentines for
our friends in the area nursing homes. Please come enjoy some chocolate and some
good company with our CCD students! We would Love to have you join us to help
brighten someone’s day with homemade Valentines.!

*** Parent Reconciliation meeting for Parents of CCD 2nd graders has been changed to Wednesday Feb. 20th
at 7:00 p,m at the Church. Reconciliation has been moved to Saturday, Feb 23rd at 10:00 am with a short
reception following afterward. Also, please remember to turn in the sheet that was sent home last week
indicating who your child's special partner is for First Communion at our next CCD class on Feb. 13th. Kay

To date, St. Joseph has contributed $3,155 of our $12,740.17 goal. That includes 34 of 195
households registered in our parish. “Each year during this campaign, we pause and consider all the
good that is done because we give; the homeless are sheltered, the elderly are cared for, our
seminarians are prepared for future ministry, to name just a few. Your commitment will help ensure
that someone is always loved and never alone.” This is our in-pew appeal weekend. If you have not
received a card, please take one from the bench and drop in collection basket or mail. THANKS!

LOOKING FOR SOMEONE….. to help split/share the 8-9 PM time slot for Adoration on
Wednesdays. Please contact Beth Schmidt at 475-3575 or Sally Pargman at 475-3555.
Prayerfully consider coming to Adoration on a regular basis and leave your worries at the
doorstep. Adoration hours are between 8am to 10pm every Wednesday. ALSO, Adoration will
be moved back to the church chapel next Wednesday, February 17.
