Throughout the many years we have spent in our education, there will be that one teacher who stood

out from among the rest. He is the teacher who did not just touch your mind, but also your heart. I met
mine when I was still a starting to climb the ladder of education.

She was my Kindergarten teacher. I can still vividly remember the lessons I had with her in English where
she taught us to pronounce the letters correctly. Little did I know that those lessons will have a big
impact in who I will become today because my fluency in the language is all thanks to her.

Kindergarten and Grade 1 levels are usually the most crucial point of how the kid will be in her academic
journey in the future because the foundations in education are usually formed in those levels. The
teacher will always be the greatest factor in this formation and I am glad for I had an excellent teacher
which did not only molded my mind but my values as well.

I can still remember how she taught us to pray in class that even years did not erase that value in me.

Her lifelong lessons which I have still carried until now has helped me surpassed my academic endeavor
when I took my English degree in college, even going into her footsteps because I have become a
teacher myself.

And like her, I will become a teacher who will not just touch my students’ mind but their hearts, as well.
