KOCH Solutions’ extensive experience combined with dynamic analysis software,

horizontal and vertical curve analysis software, higher belt tension ratings and
higher idler load ratings have allowed our engineers to successfully design and build
belt conveying systems that would have been unachievable just a few years ago.

Using sophisticated modeling techniques, we can predict how solid particles move
and interact in space. Mathematical equations consider the shape, position,
cohesiveness, velocity and force of each particle and calculate how they flow as they
pass through a predefined space to provide new solutions and minimize existing
problems of material flow through transfer points.

KOCH Solutions’ stockyard management system consist of a suite of solutions
which can be applied to various stockyard layouts depending on the actual
objective of the stockyard: To optimize throughput, equipment runtime, ore
blending, as well as document the ore quality, while complying with the highest
safety standards.

KOCH Solutions stackers offer
proven, reliable solutions for building
up longitudinal stockpiles in storage
and blending applications. Equipped
with a luffing and slewing boom,
they stack bulk materials in single or
parallel stockpiles using all conven-
tional methods.
Bucket Wheel Machines
Handle even the most demanding

from sticky or plastified materials to
frozen or encrusted materials. A

Circular Stockyard / Blending Bed
The circular store with bridge
scraper can be used in a production
line as a buffer store for nearly all
kinds of bulk material. Capacities
are up to 1,500 t/h and higher. While
one pile is reclaimed, the other pile
is built up by cone shell stacking.

scrapers with circumferential scraper
blades below the bridge frame.

Mechanical Shiploaders and Ship Unloaders

KOCH Solutions shiploaders and ship unloaders are
versatile units that can be tailored to any task using
proven components. These units move on rails allowing
faster loading and unloading of ships of all sizes.

Individual components such as telescoping loading

chutes and slewing loading spouts ensure optimal
loading of the cargo holds. For dust suppression, special
chute designs or dust collection systems can be integrat-
ed upon request.

KOCH Solutions barge loaders and unloaders are

available especially for river ships - these are units
developed by KOCH Solutions for more efficient loading

KOCH Solutions train unloading system is specially designed suitable for

unloading of rail wagons with different pay load capacities.

Train loading system

Train loading system typically comprises of surge bin with charging gates, weigh bin with discharge gate and load cells
(in case of batch weight system), loading chute (mechanical fail safe), power pack and hydraulics, control room and all
electrics and controls for automatic and manual operation.

We use either load cells or strain gauges for wagon load in and load out for tare and gross masses. Using the KOCH
Solutions specially developed technology, we will differentiate ourselves in the market using 2D laser technology for the
load in wagons to calculate the mass required for each wagon. Then quantifying the gross mass via load cells, typically
three wagons out.

Train unloading system

Train unloading systems are used for emptying loaded wagons of bulk materials.
The train unloading system hold the wagon from top as well from side by using clamping devices.
It is driven by either hydraulic or electro-mechanical system.

Placement of wagon on the platform is accomplished

by wagon marshalling equipments like Side arm
charger.

The train unloading system is equipped with necesary

electrical and control system to regulate the uniform
unloading of bulk materials from loaded wagons.
