 Notes

1. Lectures will be held on the following Saturdays with the schedule of the days
mentioned against them:

2018-19-II Semester

a) Saturday, January 12, 2019: Monday schedule will be followed.

b) Saturday, March 2, 2019: Wednesday schedule will be followed.

2019-20-I Semester

a) Saturday, September 28, 2019: Tuesday schedule will be followed.

2. If the requisite number of lectures cannot be scheduled, the instructors may, in

consultation with the students in their respective courses, decide on a schedule of
extra classes. The requisite number of lectures in a full semester course is 39
lectures of 50 minutes each for 3-lectures a week schedule.

3. There will be no extra classes on Gazetted Holidays.

4. No class, quiz, presentation, or any other academic activity will be scheduled on

April 19, 20, July 13 and November 16, 2019.

5. Saturdays and Sundays falling within the examination period will be used for
scheduling examinations. Under extraordinary circumstances, examinations of
some of the courses may be scheduled on the days preceding the mid
semester/end semester examinations.

6. Lectures for Modular Courses offered in first half of the semester/summer term will
commence on January 4, May 20 and July 29, 2019 whereas lectures for Modular
Courses offered in second half of the semester/summer term will commence on
February 25, June 19 and September 23, 2019.

7. For Modular Courses offered in the first half of the semester/summer term, the final
examinations will be conducted during February 18 - 23, 2019, June 17 - 18, 2019
and September 16 - 21, 2019. For Modular Courses offered in the second half of
the semester/summer term, the final examinations will be conducted during April 21
- 30, 2019, July 15 - 16, 2019 and November 18 - 27, 2019.

8. All make-up examinations permitted by the SUGC/SPGC will be conducted by the

concerned instructors in charge as per the Academic Calendar.
