Praised by The Wall Street Journal for being “remarkably loud,” American

tenor Lucas Levy is gaining recognition for his “suave and dark” voice (La
Scena Musicale), and for being “a joy to watch” (Broadway World). His
2018-2019 season includes performances of Haydn’s Creation with the
Susquehanna Valley Chorale, Mozart’s Requiem with the Park Slope
Singers, Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi in a return to St. Petersburg Opera, and
a return to Opera Maine for their 25th anniversary season as Monostatos in
Die Zauberflöte. An alumnus of the young artist programs of Opera Theatre
of Saint Louis, Sarasota Opera, and PORTopera, he received his Bachelor of
Music degree from Oberlin Conservatory, and his Master of Music degree
from Westminster College. Mr. Levy hails from Lexington, Massachusetts,
and currently resides in New York City.
