Activities :
a) Pre lesson 1. Teacher models the use of prepositions in, under, in
front of and behind using the things in the classroom.
b) Lesson delivery 2. Worksheet 1 is given to the pupils. Teacher recites the
jazz chant and pupils follow with correct pronunciation,
rhythm and intonation.
3. The pupils get in a group of 4 and perform the jazz
chant with action.
c) Post lesson 4. Worksheet 2 is given. The pupils paste the picture of
animal according to the instruction given by the teacher.
For example, “The lion is under the tree.”
Sentence 1: A crocodile is in the river.
Sentence 2: An elephant is in front of a rock.
Sentence 3: A giraffe is behind the elephant.
Sentence 4: An ostrich is under a tree.

5. The group representative comes to the front and show


their work.
6. Worksheet 3 is given. The pupils fill in the blanks with
the correct prepositions.
