Competency Unit Title VEHICLE CHASSIS ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SERVICING
The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to inspect and replace vehicle chassis electrical system
components in compliance with service manual and adhere to workshop practices to meet workshop safety and
health regulation. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to: -
 Perform vehicle’s battery condition inspection
 Carry out vehicle’s battery replacement
Learning Outcome  Perform vehicle’s chassis electrical system fuses and relay serviceability inspection
 Carry out vehicle’s chassis electrical system fuses and relay replacement
 Carry out vehicle’s light bulbs replacement
 Carry out vehicle’s headlamps replacement
