Heat Islands are forming because of human actions, especially in cities. Heat Islands
cause an increase in energy use as well as heat related deaths, such as strokes, plus the
mission of more greenhouse gas is polluted into the atmosphere which in term can create
smog.

How does the artifact provide validity, conflict, or the need for further research? What
unique aspect does the artifact add to your overall research?

It provides the need for development of other solutions to this ever-growing problem in
