Hari Raya Celebration

Last month , my family and I went to Alor Setar, Kedah for Hari Raya
Celebration at my grandparents’ house. We were so excited to be
there. Hari Raya is a celebration for muslims especially. Yet non-
muslims also are welcomed to celebrate it with us.

We left home at 6 a.m to avoid congestion by 10 a.m. Yet, I felt

grateful because we packed everything yesterday to make things
much better today. By 6.15 a.m , my father stopped by RnR a.k.a
Rehat dan Rawat to take a breakfast there. By contrast , we did not
buy anything instead we ate our mother’s supply she cooked
yesterday.

Thereafter, at 6.45 a.m we arrived hometown safely as we were

hoping. Grandma was the first person who welcomed us all in front
of the door. After shaking hands with Grandma and Granpa , my
family and I go met the uncles , aunties and cousins. They were
smile happily at us while their wore beautiful Hari Raya clothes. Our
family wore grey colour as a family that will grow love around us ,
that what my mother said.

At 7.15 a.m , just left women inside the house because men had left
to mosque for Hari Raya sunnat prayer. Women may go to the
mosque too but they are more prefer to do sunnat prayer at home.
Futhermore, it Is much easier to bake Hari Raya cookies later. I
helped my mother make Hari Raya cookies. On the other hand, I
helped my mother make chicken rendang too. Well, my Grandma
already made ketupat yesterday so that’s why my Grandma make
chicken rendang today.

Lastly, we took lots of pictures as a big happy family. Importantly is

having fun with your family. In conclusion, celebration is showing
that our family’s love for us. For instance , our father bought us new
Hari Raya Celebration
clothes during Hari Raya , and our mother cooked food for us just
don’t want to us get stomachache.
