ABSTRACT
In this practice for the isolation of microorganisms associated with the nitrogen cycle taking into
account that: Biological fixation begins with the process that make bacteria bacteria that transform
N2 to NH3. The most important are those of the genus Rizobium, which live in symbiosis in the roots
of leguminous plants, whose plant cells provide the energy necessary for the reduction of N2 to NH3,
by the bacteria. Nitrogenous organic compounds are formed that are already incorporated into the
plant to form proteins and other organic plant molecules. Then, the organic nitrogen plant passes to
the animals that feed on these plants. Other bacteria that live free in the soil (Azotobacter,
Clostridium) fix ef N2 to ammonia (NH3) and it accumulates in the soil. So do cyanobacteria or blue-
green algae in the water. In addition they were aimed to isolate and select microorganisms used as
biofertilizers from soil samples, to recover Rhizobium sp from legume plant nodules in yeast mannitol
agar and to isolate and select bacteria of the genus Azotobacter sp by the technique of soil granules
On Ashby agar. Each objective was achieved thanks to the methodology worked; And thus obtained
results that could be said as expected.
