GUIDE
PROF. MAHESH SUTAR
INTRODUCTION
An anti-theft system is any device or method used to
prevent or detect the unauthorized appropriation of items
considered valuable.
ABSTRACT
 Security is primary concern everywhere and for everyone. Every
person wants his home, industry, valuable belongings such as bikes,
cars etc to be secured. Would you ever consider leaving thousands
of rupees worth of your personal belongings in the street without
protection? Well, that is what you do every time you park your car
at the side of the road or anywhere else if you do not have a
bike/car security alarm fitted to it. Most bikes/cars do not come
with an effective protection system, and a determined thief is
generally able to steal a car in a matter of seconds.
 Proposed project act as an electronic protector + wireless reporter to
owner if someone else tries to start the bike without a proper
password. Also give siren for attention.

RELAY
 A relay is an electrically operated switch.
 Many relays use an electromagnet to operate a switching
mechanism, but other operating principles are also used
 When a current flows through the coil, the resulting magnetic field
attracts an armature that is mechanically linked to a moving
contact.
 The movement either makes or breaks a connection with a fixed
contact

POWER SUPPLY
Since we need +5v power supply to circuit we can use
 9v/ 6v battery.
 Power supply available in Laboratory.
 Car/bike batteries
Along with following voltage regulator circuit-
VOLTAGE REGULATOR IC 7805

IC 7805 is used to give a +5V dc supply in the power supply.

The 7805 series of devices is a family of self-contained fixed linear
voltage regulator integrated circuit .The 7805 is a very popular choice
for many electronic circuits that require a regulated power supply, due
to their ease of use and relative cheapness. The 7805 has a 5 volt
output as it is dependent on the last two-digit number.7805 ICs have 3
terminals. 7805 ICs have built-in protection against a circuit drawing
too much power. 7805 ICs do not require any additional components to
provide a constant, regulated source of power, making them easy to
use, as well as economical, and also efficient uses of circuit board real
estate
Features:
 • Output Current up to 1A
 • Output Voltages of 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 18, 24V
 • Thermal Overload Protection
 • Short Circuit Protection

CIRCUIT DIAGRAM
WORKING

 In order to start the ignition system user will be asked to provide

the pre-stored password.
 If he enters wrong password 2-3 times, the security system sends
the message to user’s mobile using GSM module in first time
only.
 System will give the fake response of re-entered password to thief
up to 3 times. In that time user can come & catch the thief.
 Also user can control system suing mobile phone by sending text
message.
 Also if theft will try to move bike without starting ignition
system, then IR sensors connected near back wheel can track
motion of wheel & will give a siren.
 Also we have situated the LCD & keypad system near to
speedometer and it is covered by glass envelope Press switch is
attached below the glass envelope.
 If thief tries to damage the system or to remove glass cover then
switch gets open & system will sound the buzzer.
 System reset button is also there. We hide the button at such place
that user will only know the position of it.
 We can ON/OFF the system only when we require.
ADVANTAGES
 Prevent your bike from being stolen.
 Smart alert for system protection.
 Lower rates for manufacturing system.
 Small size and light weight.
FUTURE ASPECTS
 Vehicle tracking by GPS if system fails.

 We can use different types of locks like face reorganization,

fingerprint reader.

 Mechanical and electronic immobilizer.

 System can be made much portable using SMDS and integrated

circuits.
