Fourth Sunday in Lent

Today’s Gospel reading is that of the Prodigal Son. This is an opportunity for us to reflect on our long-term
relationships. Who among our friends, family and co-workers do we need to ask forgiveness? Who among them do
we need to forgive?

What a L.A.R.K.!
Br. Paul Bourque’s Suggestions for
Lenten Acts of Random Kindness
Called:
"We are each called to take part in a great transformation. We can create a more peaceful world by striving for goodness in each
moment,
wherever we are. We are invited to become life artists, those who create lives of wholeness and beauty at every moment. Wherever
we are we can create Beauty. Moment by moment we can create joy. Instant by instant, we can offer kindness".
- words of Bishop Desmond Tutu

This week’s suggestions for Lenten Acts of Random Kindness.

1. Light a candle for someone you know who has died as a way of saying "I am thinking of you and I miss you." The candle will be
lit and your prayer will stay.

2. Put flowers on a War Memorial.

3. Be kind - everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.

Caution: When choosing kindness, positive side effects may occur, such as increased optimism, reduced stress, lowered anxiety, and a tendency
to make the world a better place. Check back each week for new suggestions!
