Using internet to socialize (Advantage & Disadvantages)

These days using internet is becoming increasingly popular around the world. For many people Commented [MAM1]: Too general……..nothing about

“especially young adults” this an attractive option to meet new people. However, there are both
pros and cons of using internet to socialize. In this essay, I will discuss some of the reasons why
using internet is so popular and some of the challenges to be overcome.

One of the main advantages of using interment is that it makes the communication very easy. For
example, when people use Facebook, IMO, Twitter apps, they can meet with new people around
the world. This facilities us to access information more easily and more quickly which helps to
build relationship among people over the world. Another advantage is promoting business around
the world. This certainly gives an opportunity to earn more money, and helps to people to get out
from financial crisis. For example, I have been working with a freelancing group which gives me
some extra money to bear my study cost.

In spite of those advantages, people may get addicted to the internet. This not only kills their
invaluable time but also leads to health hazards. Newspaper reported that, about 60% people
suffered eye sight problems because of their addiction to the internet. Moreover, they may
experience cyberbullying because there is a chance of online scams and virus. As a result people
may lose their individual data leading to many social problems.

In conclusion, there are clearly both positives and negatives of using internet to socialize. While
using internet people can promote their business, and eventually people may get addicted.

Personally, I believe if you use the internet with right attitudes, this should be an absolutely
experiences.
 Using internet will break down in family relationships and communication

These days many people find it difficult to maintain relationship by using the internet. Therefore,
some say that internet will interrupt in family bonding in future. However, I do not think that
internet will create a lot of problems in our social and family life.

One of the most important point why I disagree is that this makes the communication very easy.
For instance, when people use various type of social apps like Facebook, IMO, Twitter apps, they
can meet with new people from different culture around the world. This opens up the door for us
to access information more conveniently and more quickly which helps to build relationship
among people over the world. Moreover, it helps us greatly promoting business all the way. Even
more, this certainly gives an opportunity to earn more money, and helps to people to get out from
financial crisis. For example, I have been working with a freelancing group which gives me some
extra money to bear my study cost.

On the other hand many people say that people may get addicted to the internet. This may not only
kill their invaluable time but also lead to health hazards. For example, The Daily star reported that
70% of people suffered various types of health hazards of using internet. Even if this may be true,
internet made it possible to get touch with family member who live in abroad which may even lead
to a better family relationship. A poll by UK government found that 70% of people communicate
with their family by using different apps.

In conclusion, there is no reason why internet will not improve family bondage. While this leads
to waste of time, people may get access to the internet. Almost everywhere to Contact with their
family. Personally, I believe if you use with right attitude, this should be an absolutely valuable
experience for family.
