I am pleased to express my interest in an internship position under Hatch Ltd. I believe that my past
experiences, qualifications, as well as my passion that outweighs them both will be a play a huge role in
me being fit for this position.

My experience in the commercial sector that am currently at with Bell Canada as a product and service
associate, has allowed me to specialize in managing people, planning and project management skills with
extensive knowledge in statistical processes. This plays an essential role in keeping the department intact
and greatly contributes to the practical qualifications of the job. Any minor mistake in the contracts of the
special orders and installations that I write for customers, could cause issues that could put thousands of
dollars into waste. Therefore, I can confidently say that this instills a quality in me to manage multiple
projects simultaneously while meeting all deadlines. Over the 3 years I worked for Bell I have been highly
motivated with every task I do, confident, organized and detail oriented; equally effective working
independently or as part of a team. I am comfortable in interfacing with all levels of management or team
members.

I am currently studying in the field of civil engineering at York University through which I discovered my
passion toward structural engineering, as I was researching the right materials and assembly methods for
commercial buildings. As part of a school group project, I was handling the building skeleton in a design
project course. That process made me discover my passion and drive to excel in the knowledge of
materials, and to also work with new methods to reinforce building materials such as steel-fiber reinforced
concrete and various other assembly methods. In addition to that, courses such as civil engineering
materials, the introduction to civil engineering design, and civil engineering graphics will also be a great
asset to live up to the technical requirement of this position.

During the summer of 2016 I was given the opportunity of an internship at PLE construction Ltd as a site
inspector. This opportunity greatly helped me gain skills such as excelling in the process of performing
concrete slump tests and stress tests on concrete cylinders, due to the fact that I have performed it
several times throughout the four-month period, and also due to my passion I happened to perfect the
processes by end of the period.

Working in a company that excels like Hatch LTD, and that stood the test of time since the early 1900’s,
requires me to have the same dedication and competitive spirit that took it to the top. It also requires facing
the challenges of its positions, with enthusiasm and the ability to have fun with them. I firmly believe that
my qualifications, past experiences, and accountability would be the fuel for that dedication and competitive
spirit that is required for this position. I have confidence that you would not regret taking me in as an intern,
and I would be honored to listen with attentive ears in order to benefit this company with my humble
