of Tagaytay, Tagaytay City in partial fulfillment of the requirements for graduation with the
Degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management.

INTRODUCTION

The training program or on-the-job training (OJT) is part of the curriculum that
provides industry immersion for students. Learning through experience and strong work
ethics must be established, thereby developing and sharing knowledge between the
company’s professionals and trainee. This training is required to help him to obtain
applicable knowledge amd skills by performing in actual work settings. Students should
undergo to such training within a specific number of hours as part fo the curriculum. On-
the-job training is a method of training, teaching and harnessing skills through exposure
and practice in real-life working environment to become competitive in the chosen field
wherever they will be heading to in the near future. This will bring to a visualization of the
outcome of being employed in any establishment and company. Every task is a process of
pursuing goals and evaluation on how to handle different problems thay will be
encountered. (Nachura, 2008)

The trainee can improve her skills through experiences that will help her to be a
competitive individual in the corporate world. She must adopt her learnings from the
school’s curriculum and must excel satisfactory performance under the company’s
training system or standard and working environment . She needs to accomplish the
number of training hours required in the curriculum. She must help herself to improve in
order to gain more knowledge and skills and be able to have outstanding work training.

Many people learn when they start performing the task they will be responsible for.
On-the-Job Training is given for the exposure of the students in different work situations
and making the workplace to become the training ground for the development of the
trainees that they can apply in their future environment. The trainee focuses to learn more
about her chosen field and to develop her personality as an individual. An OJT is a
privileged to both party (company and trainee), it provides additional manpower to the
company and at the same time there is a chance for the trainee to be absorb by the
company which is less cost for the training program. The trainee can be criticized by her
superior through her performance, attitude and competency.
 The trainee conducted her OJT at Tagaytay Country Hotel located at 1315 Emilio
Aguinaldo Hwy, Silang Tagaytay, Cavite. She started at her training on December 3, 2018 and
ended on the April 13, 2019 completing her 600 hours of training. He works from Monday to
Saturday at 9:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m.

Objectives of the study

The study aimed to analyze the necessary areas of the operation of the chosen company.
The following are the main target of the study.

1. To analyze and understand how the business runs.

2. To study the process required in the Marketing Management.
3. To observe the working environment.
4. To understand the strength , weaknesses, opportunity and threat of the company.
5. To study the role and importance of the pioneer.
6. To determine how the management solves the problems and reduce the conflicts faced by
the company.

Importance of the study

This study can give information which can be helpful to the following:

Students. This can be a basis for the students as a source of information or a basis of study.

Society. The study can help for the awareness of the society and their benefits from the
company. Since, this company is focused in good service for accommodation, they use this as the
additional source of information about accomodatios.

Management. It is absolutely useful to the management of Tagaytay Country Hotel. Since, there
are important aspects that has been studied like the problems therefore, those can be solve or
improved. The study will also serve as the record of the past performance of company . This
study would be a great help for them to bring the imperative improvements for the company and
employees.

Author. The study can faster the thinking skills and capabilities in solving problems. This study
is also one of the requirments for her to pass the last semester.
 METHODOLOGY

Time and Place of the study

The study was conducted by the researcher during the whole time of her
commencement at the Tagaytay Country Hotel . Through the use of online research and
observation, the researcher has concluded and understands a lot of things about the
company. The primary location of the study is at the at 1315 Emilio Aguinaldo Hwy, Silang
Tagaytay, Cavite.

Collection of Data

The data has been collected was through the combination of observation, online
research and through giving the emphasis of the company’s strength, weakness,
opportunities and threat as well. The researcher has also conducted an interview with the
necessart person who can give the most valid and accurate answer to the concern of the
study.

Method of Analysis

The method used to evaluate and analyze the company was the SWOT Analysis
wherein Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunites and the Threats that the firm has was
analyzed, researched and can easily be observed.
