Local Artist to be featured at Re:Vision Art Gallery
Buchanan’s Rustic Revival owner to be featured in downtown Kenosha art gallery

Kenosha, WI—Local artist and business owner Blake Buchanan will be one of Re:Vision Art
Gallery’s featured artist for the month of June. Blake is the sole proprietor of Buchanan’s Rustic
Revival, a local upcycle shop that creates unique and meaningful furniture as well as home
décor tailored to customer specifications.

Re:Vision Art Gallery is located on north Sheridan Road and features the work of emerging and
established artists from around the area every month. Buchanan started Buchanan’s Rustic
Revival as a hobby, but it soon flourished into something much more. Buchanan utilizes the
skills and techniques he acquired in the military to create his craft art.

“You never know what you’re going to make. That’s the fun thing about this business,” says
Blake about the unpredictability of his art. Not only has he created some heartwarming items
for customers over the years, such as a park bench for a couple made completely from the old
playground equipment their grandchildren had once played on, but he also makes novelty
items that include a Death Star fire pit and his current project, a Game of Thrones style throne
comprised completely of old car parts.

Blake is now working towards a bachelor’s degree in social work while still finding the time to
