Fifth Sunday in Lent

Today’s Gospel is about refraining from judging other people. The spiritually strong among us leave God to do the
judgment. May we all learn to imitate the strong.

Br. Paul Bourque’s Suggestions for
Lenten Acts of Random Kindness
Lenten Meditation:
"Be Kind Whenever Possible. It is always possible."
- words to live by from the 14th Dalai Lama

This week’s suggestions for Lenten Acts of Random Kindness.

1. Smile more! Smiling is an act of kindness as it makes other people around you happier, but it can also make you happier. Being
kind to yourself is also a good idea!

2. Send someone a care package. Nothing says "I am thinking of you" like a care package. Send one to a relative or friend who
lives far away filled with lots of their favorite things like home baked goods and feel good items that will brighten their day.

3. Get a reusable water bottle. Switching to a reusable water bottle, as well as reusable, environmental friendly lunch boxes and
other packages for your food is an easy way to cut down on waste and is very good for our planet.
Caution: When choosing kindness, positive side effects may occur, such as increased optimism, reduced stress, lowered anxiety,
and a tendency to make the world a better place. Check back each week for new suggestions!
