Project 1:

Name: Cell Chain Stein

Client: Novartis Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

The company is a Switzerland based pharmaceutical company. The project is to


develop a software based on the data from the patients to identify the diseases
by testing the blood samples of the current patients and suggest appropriate
medicine. The software is mainly used for suggesting the medicine and booking
slots for patients. The main aim of the project is develop a software for Material
requirement planning and forecasting the demand of the medicines.

Project 2:

Name: Geospatial Learning Pathways

Client: British Petroleum Ltd.

The project is to develop a site which is used for learning and employee training.
There are different employees from different positions are working in the firm,
so the learning pathway help them to in the appropriate learning techniques and
practical methods for learning. There are different courses in the site employees
can select different courses from the site which suits their role in the
organisation. The project is developed for the HR department of the company
for training and development purposes.
Organizational Structure

In Infosys for each project they follow a project based organizational


structure. A team is assigned for each project and all the activities of the project
group is controlled by head of the team. People from different departments are
allotted to project groups and they work in the group.

For years they are following this organizational structure and they agree with
the choice because they believe for the success of a project, project based
organizational structure is more effective. It will give the team more freedom in
