Η κρίση ας είναι έννοια

Ανάπτυξη και πρόοδος,

Θεσμοί που πλήγμα δέχτηκαν

Η παρούσα έκδοση αποτελεί προϊόν του Ελληνικού Κολλεγίου Θεσσαλονί-
κης και του Ομίλου Θεσσαλονίκης για την UNESCO στο πλαίσιο της προώθησης
των αξιών που προβάλλει η UNESCO και της συμβολής της στην εκστρατεία για
τη δημιουργία ενός καλύτερου κόσμου μέσα από την επίτευξη των 17 Παγκό-
σμιων Στόχων για τη Βιώσιμη Ανάπτυξη. Aφορμή για την εκπόνηση της εργασίας
αποτέλεσε η διοργάνωση του 5ου Μαθητικού Συμποσίου Λυκείων της Κε-
ντρικής Μακεδονίας του Δικτύου Συνεργαζόμενων Σχολείων ASPnet
UNESCO από το Ελληνικό Κολλέγιο στις 1- 2 Μαρτίου 2019 και η φιλοξενία του
θεσμού στις εγκαταστάσεις των Εκπαιδευτηρίων μας.
Το θέμα του Συμποσίου ήταν: «17 Στόχοι Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης: Δημιουρ-
γούμε ένα καλύτερο μέλλον» και πραγματοποιήθηκε σε συνεργασία με το
Υπουργείο Παιδείας, Έρευνας και Θρησκευμάτων, την Ελληνική Εθνι-
κή Επιτροπή και την Εθνική Συντονίστρια για τα Σχολεία του Δικτύου
ΑSPnet UNESCO, κα Βέρα Δηλάρη.
Στο πλαίσιο αυτό κινούμενο το Ελληνικό Κολλέγιο Θεσσαλονίκης ανέπτυξε συνερ-
γασία με το Περιφερειακό Κέντρο Πληροφοριών του ΟΗΕ στις Βρυξέλλες
(UN.RIC.) και τον Υπεύθυνο Επικοινωνίας για Ελλάδα και Κύπρο, κ. Δημήτριο
Φατούρο, με το Ελληνικό Ινστιτούτο για τον ΟΗΕ και την Διευθύντριά του,
κα Παρούλα Περράκη-Νάσκου, τ. Καθηγήτρια Διεθνούς Δικαίου του Πανε-
πιστημίου Μακεδονίας, η οποία είχε την επιστημονική καθοδήγηση της έκδοσης,
καθώς και με τον Όμιλο για την UNESCO Νέων Θεσσαλονίκης και τον
Διευθυντή του, κ. Στέφανο Κατσούλη και την Πρόεδρο, κα Ευαγγελία Δε-
δούση, οι οποίοι πραγματοποίησαν ενημερωτικές εισηγήσεις στους μαθητές και
μαθήτριές μας για τους Στόχους Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης του ΟΗΕ, την εφαρμογή
τους σε επίπεδο Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης και θέματα που άπτονται της UNESCO.
Oι μαθητές και μαθήτριες του Λυκείου του Ελληνικού Κολλεγίου Θεσσαλονίκης
ανέλαβαν μια σειρά από δράσεις που περιλαμβάνουν αρχικά τη μελέτη και κατα-
γραφή των 17 Στόχων της Νέας Παγκόσμιας Αναπτυξιακής Αντζέντας 2030 σε
μια έντυπη, δίγλωσση και ηλεκτρονική έκδοση του παρόντος εγχειριδίου.
Η εν λόγω έκδοση πλαισιώθηκε από την εικαστική απεικόνιση κάποιων στόχων
καθώς και την απόδοση όλων σε μορφή κόμικ από τους μαθητές Λυδία Μιχαη-
λίδου και Χρήστο Γιαμαλή αντίστοιχα. Τον συντονισμό και επίβλεψη των δρά-
σεων είχαν οι καθηγητές Ιωάννης Αλέκογλου, Ιωάννα Φουντά-Κόντου
και Αναστασία Ψαλλίδα.
Παράλληλα, πραγματοποιήθηκε η σύνθεση ποιήματος από τη μαθήτρια Ευαγ-
γελία Ποθητού με τίτλο: «Γέφυρες... του Κόσμου», η μελοποίησή του από
τους μαθητές Σωκράτη Τουλόπουλο και Κυριάκο Νικολάου, η εκτέλεσή του
από τη μαθήτρια Ιωάννα Ζαζοπούλου και Αικατερίνη Αναγνωστοπούλου
με συνοδεία κιθάρας από τον μαθητή Γρηγόρη Χριστίδη Hughes. Την επίβλε-

ψη είχε ο καθηγητής Μιχάλης Κζούνιας.
Ακόμη, η μαθήτρια Νιόβη Γουνοπούλου συνέθεσε ποίημα με τίτλο : «Η
Φωνή της Γης», το οποίο πλαισίωσε δρώμενο με τον ομώνυμο τίτλο και το
οποίο απέδωσε την αλλαγή του κόσμου μέσα από την εφαρμογή των 17 Στόχων
του ΟΗΕ με τη διεθνή γλώσσα της παντομίμας, υπό την επίβλεψη της καθηγήτριας
Ράπτη Βασιλικής.
Τέλος, οι μαθήτριες Αικατερίνη Τσακλίδου και Μαριάννα Γαρίτση έφτιαξαν
ηλεκτρονικό παιχνίδι με τίτλο «Παίζοντας με τους Στόχους», το οποίο πα-
ρουσιάστηκε στην τελετή λήξης του 5ου Συμποσίου
Το παρόν πόνημα υλοποιήθηκε με την ηθική και υλική στήριξη της
κας Ιωάννας Φουντά, Διευθύντριας του Ελληνικού Κολλεγίου Θεσ-
σαλονίκης, η οποία στέκεται αρωγός σε όλες τις προσπάθειές μας και
την ευχαριστούμε θερμά.
Ευχαριστούμε, επίσης, όλους τους μαθητές και τις μαθήτριες του Ελλη-
νικού Κολλεγίου Θεσσαλονίκης που συμμετείχαν στις παραπάνω δράσεις.

Thessaloniki, March 2019
This edition is created by the Hellenic College of Thessaloniki and the
UNESCO Club of Thessaloniki, within the context of promoting the values pro-
jected by UNESCO as well as its contribution to the campaign for creating
a better world by the achievement of 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Devel-
opment. The occasion for this project was the organization of 5th Student
Symposium High School of Central Macedonia Network Accossi-
ated Schools ASPnet UNESCO by Hellenic College at 1 – 2 March 2019,
which took place at the premises of the school.
The theme of Symposium was: “17 Global Goals for Sustainable De-
velopment We create a better future” and was held in cooperation
with the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs, the
Hellenic National Committee and the National Coordinator ASPnet
Greece, Mrs Vera Dilari.
In this context the Hellenic College of Thessaloniki cooperated with the Unit-
ed Nations Regional Information Center in Brussels (UN.RIC) and the
Communication Officer for Greece and Cyprus, Mr Dimitrios Fatouros, the
Hellenic Institute for the United Nations, and its Director, Mrs Paroula
Perraki-Naskou, ret. Professor of International Law of University of Mace-
donia, who guided us scientifically for the edition, as well as the Youth Club
UNESCO of Thessaloniki and its Director, Mr Stefanos Katsoulis and
its President, Miss Evangelia Dedousi, who informed our students by ed-
ucational lectures for the U.N. Global Goals, their implementation in EU and
topics that related with UNESCO.
The students of High School undertook a series of actions that includes at first
the reading and recording of 17 Goals of the new World Development Agenda
2030 in a printed and electronic edition of the present manual in
two languages. This edition includes the artistical depiction of a few goals
as well as the rendering of all in comic by the students Lidia Mihailidou and
Christos Giamalis. The coordination and supervision is undertaken by the
teachers: Ioannis Alekoglou, Ioanna Founta Kontou and Anastasia
Psallida.
Also, Evangelia Pothitou composed the poem entitled: “The World’s
Bridges...” which was put into music by Socratis Toulopoulos and
Kyriakos Nikolaou, while students Ioanna Zazopoulou and Aikaterini
Anagnostopoulou respectively undertook its performance with the guitar
accompanying by the student Grigoris Christidis Hughes. The guidance
of students undertook the teacher Mihalis Kzounias.

Moreover, Niovi Gounopoulou composed a poem entitled: “The Voice of
Earth”, which framed a theatrical performance of the same title that
pinpointed the changes that the implementation of the 17 goals brought to
the world while using the international language of pantomime. The guidance
of students undertook the teacher Vasiliki Rapti.
Finally, Aikaterini Tsaklidou and Marianna Garitsi created an electronic
game entitled “Playing with the Goals”, that presented at the final cere-
mony of the 5th Symposium.
This endeavor was realized through the moral and material sup-
port of Mrs Founta Ioanna, the Head of the Hellenic College of
Thessaloniki, who is always our precious assistant to all our ef-
forts and to whom we extend our warmest thanks.
We also thank all students in Hellenic College of Thessaloniki who
participated in these activities.

Αντόνιο Γκουτέρες, ΓΓ ΟΗΕ: Οι Στόχοι για τη Βιώσιμη Ανάπτυξη είναι το
μονοπάτι που μας οδηγεί σε ένα κόσμο δικαιότερο, πιο ειρηνικό και ευημε-
ρούντα, και σε έναν υγιή πλανήτη. Είναι επίσης μια πρόσκληση για αλληλεγγύη
μεταξύ των γενεών. Δεν υπάρχει μεγαλύτερο καθήκον από το να επενδύσουμε
στην ευημερία των νέων.
Αγαπητέ Μαθητή, Αγαπητή Μαθήτρια,
Τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2015, η Γενική Συνέλευση των Ηνωμένων Εθνών στη Νέα
Υόρκη έλαβε μία απόφαση που θα μπορούσε να χαρακτηριστεί ως μία ιστορική
συμφωνία που θα επηρεάσει τη ζωή εκατομμύριων ανθρώπων πιθανότατα και
τη δική σου. Πρόκειται για την υιοθέτηση 17 Στόχων, γνωστοί και ως «Στόχοι
Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης».
Σε αυτή την παγκόσμια συμφωνία, περισσότεροι από 150 ηγέτες που εκπροσω-
πούν σχεδόν το σύνολο της ανθρωπότητας,  δεσμεύτηκαν  να  μεταμορφώσουν
τον κόσμο μας σε έναν κόσμο  χωρίς φτώχεια, πείνα και ανισότητες μέχρι το
2030. Έναν κόσμο με αξιοπρεπή  εργασία και καλή  εκπαίδευση, έναν  κόσμο
ειρηνικό χωρίς την απειλή της κλιματικής αλλαγής, έναν κόσμο που μέσα από
τις αρχές της βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης, θα μεριμνά για τις ανάγκες όχι μόνο της
σημερινής γενιάς αλλά και των μελλοντικών γενεών δηλαδή για το δικό σου
μέλλον.

Ιδιαίτερα σημαντικός για τους μαθητές και τους εκπαιδευτικούς σε όλο τον κό-
σμο, είναι ο Στόχος 4 για την ελεύθερη, ισότιμη και ποιοτική εκπαί-
δευση.
Ο Στόχος αυτός επιδιώκει όλα τα αγόρια και κορίτσια  στον κόσμο να πηγαίνουν
σχολείο και να τους παρέχεται καλή ποιοτική εκπαίδευση.
Σήμερα, 57 εκατομμύρια παιδιά δεν πηγαίνουν σχολείο, ενώ 103 εκατομμύρια
νέοι παγκοσμίως έχουν δυσκολία να διαβάσουν και να γράψουν. Ο Στόχος 4 επι-
διώκει να εξαλειφθούν όλες τις  διακρίσεις με βάση το φύλο και να διασφαλιστεί
η πρόσβαση σε ευάλωτες ομάδες, όπως τα άτομα  με αναπηρία. Παράλληλα,
επιδιώκει είτε να αναβαθμισθούν οι σχολικές εγκαταστάσεις είτε να δημιουργη-
θούν νέες, που να  ανταποκρίνονται στις ανάγκες όλων των μαθητών, όπου και
αν βρίσκονται.
Τους Στόχους αυτούς, από τον 1ο  και τον 4ο μέχρι τον 17ο  πρέπει να τους  πε-
τύχουμε.
Θα τα καταφέρουμε;
Η μέχρι σήμερα εμπειρία δείχνει ότι χρειάζεται συντονισμένη προσπάθεια και
συνεργασία από όλα τα μέρη. Μπορούμε, αρκεί να μείνουμε προσηλωμένοι και
ενωμένοι στην κοινή μας παγκόσμια προσπάθεια. Αυτή η προσπάθεια για την
υλοποίηση των στόχων θα διαρκέσει μέχρι το 2030.
Αυτό σημαίνει ότι εσύ και οι συμμαθητές σου, θα μεγαλώσετε  και θα ωριμάσε-
τε ταυτόχρονα με τους Στόχους. Αυτός είναι ακόμα ένας σημαντικός λόγος για
να συμμετάσχετε ενεργά στην παγκόσμια προσπάθεια που έχει ήδη αρχίσει. Οι
Στόχοι σε αφορούν άμεσα.  
Μάθε λοιπόν τους Στόχους στο http://unric.org/sdgs-in-greek και κάνε ότι
περνάει από το χέρι σου για να γίνουν πραγματικότητα. Το μέλλον του κόσμου
μας είναι στα χέρια σου.

Antonio Guterres, UN GS: The Sustainable Development Goals are the
pathway that leads to, a fairer, more peaceful and thriving world and to a
healthier planet. They are also an invitation for solidarity between generations.
There is no greater duty than to invest in the prosperity of the youth.
Dear students,
In September of 2015, the United Nations General Assembly in New York took
a decision that could be described as a historic agreement that will affect
the lives of millions, probably also yours. Its about the adaptation of 17 Goals,
also known as “Sustainable Development Goals”.
In this global agreement more that 150 world leaders that represent almost
all of humanity pledged to transform our world into a world without poverty,
hunger and inequality by 2030. A world with dignified employment and quality
education, a peaceful world without the threat of climate change, a world that
through the principles of sustainable development will provide for the needs
of not only this generation, but also for future generations, meaning for your
future.
Especially significant for students and teachers worldwide, is Goal 4 con-

This Goal is aiming all boys and girls throughout the globe can have access to
school and are provided with good-quality education.
Today, 57 million children are not going to school, while 103 million young
adults have trouble reading and writing. Goal 4 aims to eliminate all forms of
discrimination based on gender and to secure access to vulnerable groups,
such as people with disabilities. Furthermore, it aims to either upgrade school
infrastructure or to create new, that meets the needs of all students, wherever
they are.
These Goals, from the 1st and the 4th till the 17th we have to achieve them.
Will we do it?
The experience so far shows that coordinated effort and cooperation from
everyone is needed. We can achieve it, if we stay focused and united in our
shared global effort. This effort for the implementation of the Goals will last
until 2030. This means that you and your classmates will grow and mature
alongside the Goals. That is one more significant reason to actively participate
in the global effort that has already begun. The Goals directly concern
you.

Αγαπητοί μαθητές, Αγαπητές μαθήτριες,
Οι 17 Στόχοι Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης (ΣΒΑ) συνθέτουν την «Ατζέντα 2030», την
οποία η Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή χαρακτήρισε ως την πρώτη παγκόσμια συμφωνία,
και θέτουν το πλαίσιο δράσης όλων των χωρών, ανεπτυγμένων και αναπτυσ-
σόμενων. Οι ΣΒΑ καλύπτουν όλα τα φλέγοντα ζητήματα και τις προκλήσεις των
σύγχρονων κοινωνιών, από την αντιμετώπιση της φτώχειας, της μετανάστευσης
και της κλιματικής αλλαγής ως τη διαχείριση των υδατικών πόρων και απο-
βλήτων-απορριμμάτων και την ισότιμη πρόσβαση σε αξιοπρεπή εργασία. Είναι
δομημένοι με τέτοιο τρόπο, ώστε να αναδεικνύονται οι αλληλοσυνδέσεις μεταξύ
των θεμάτων. Σκοπός είναι «κανένας Στόχος να μην έχει μεγαλύτερη
βαρύτητα έναντι των άλλων και όλοι να αντιμετωπίζονται από κοι-
νού, με τρόπο συνολικό». Στη διαμόρφωση αυτού του πλαισίου η UNESCO,
ως ο εξειδικευμένος οργανισμός για την εκπαίδευση των Ηνωμένων Εθνών, η
παγκόσμια εκπαιδευτική κοινότητα και οργανώσεις νέων συνέβαλαν καθοριστι-
κά. Συνεπώς, καλούνται να δραστηριοποιηθούν και κατά το στάδιο υλοποίησης
καθώς το στοίχημα είναι όλα τα ενδιαφερόμενα μέρη να «οικειοποιηθούν» τους
17 Στόχους και να αντιληφθούν ότι αφορούν όλους τους πολίτες σε όλο τον
κόσμο, όποια ιδιότητα και αν έχουν.
Η κινητοποίηση για τους ΣΒΑ έχει παγκόσμια διάσταση και τα κράτη-μέλη κα-
λούνται να δημιουργήσουν Εθνικό Σχέδιο Δράσης, ώστε η κάθε χώρα να οδη-
γηθεί σε μία ολοκληρωμένη και βιώσιμη αναπτυξιακή πορεία, με σεβασμό στα
ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα, στη διατήρηση υψηλής ποιότητας περιβάλλοντος, χωρίς
κοινωνικούς αποκλεισμούς και με γνώμονα την ευημερία όλων.

Η εκπαίδευση βρίσκεται στην καρδιά της αειφόρου ανάπτυξης και αποτελεί
σημαντικό παράγοντα για την υλοποίηση των άλλων Στόχων. Η ποιοτική εκ-
παίδευση οδηγεί σε μεγαλύτερη ευημερία, σε καλύτερα αποτελέσματα για την
υγεία, σε λιγότερη βία, ενισχύει την ισότητα των φύλων, δημιουργεί υψηλότερο
κοινωνικό κεφάλαιο και έχει αποτέλεσμα ένα βελτιωμένο φυσικό περιβάλλον.
H Στρατηγική, για τα έτη 2014-2021, του Παγκόσμιου Δικτύου των Συ-
νεργαζόμενων Σχολείων της UNESCO (Associated Schools Network-
ASPnet), με τίτλο «Global Network of Schools addressing Global Challenges»
θέτει δυο προτεραιότητες: την Εκπαίδευση για την Αειφορία και την
Εκπαίδευση για την Παγκόσμια Ιδιότητα του Πολίτη.
Τα ετήσια Μαθητικά Συμπόσια του Ελληνικού Δικτύου Σχολείων ASPnet διορ-
γανώνονται στο ανωτέρω πλαίσιο, λαμβάνοντας υπόψη ότι η εκπαίδευση είναι
το κλειδί, ώστε οι άνθρωποι να αντιληφθούν την αειφόρο ανάπτυξη είναι έννοια
θεμελιώδη για το κοινό μας μέλλον. Η εκπαίδευση παρέχει τα βασικά εργαλεία
για να προχωρήσουμε στην υλοποίηση των ΣΒΑ και τελικά να επιτύχουμε αυτή
την παγκόσμια συμφωνία που είναι μεν φιλόδοξη, αλλά ελπιδοφόρα. Ως σημε-
ρινοί μαθητές του Δικτύου ASPnet-UNESCO, ως αυριανοί πολίτες, οφείλετε να

Dear students,
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) constitute the 2030 Agenda,
which the European Union characterized as the first global compact, and set
the international framework of action, for both developed and developing
countries. The SDG cover all the critical issues and challenges of modern
societies, from facing poverty, immigration and climate change to managing
water resources or waste and the equal access to working with dignity. They are
constructed in such a way, so that the interconnections between the different
topics are explicitly highlighted. It is of outermost significance that “no goal
is more important than others and all of them are treated jointly,
in an aggregated manner”. UNESCO, as the special organization of the
UN for education, the educational community and various youth groups have
contributed significantly in the configuration of the framework. Therefore, they
are called to act according to the implementation plan, since the bet is that all
interested parts are familiarized to the 17 goals and realize that they concern
all citizens around the globe, regardless of their identity.
The mobilization for the SDG on global levels calls the member-states to
create a National Action Plan so that each country is led to an inclusive and
sustainable development path, with respect to both human rights and the
conservation of the high quality environment, without social exclusions, with
its axis being our own social prosperity.

Education is at the core of sustainable development and constitutes a crucial
factor in the implementation of the other goals. Quality education leads to
greater prosperity, to better results for health, to less violence, it reinforces
gender equality, it creates a higher social capital and results in an improved
natural environment.
The strategy, for the years 2014-2021, of the Associated Schools
Network (ASPnet), titled «Global Network of Schools addressing Global
Challenges» sets two priorities: Education for Sustainability and Global
Citizenship Education.
The annual student symposiums of the Greek network of ASPnet schools are
organized in the highest framework, taking into consideration that education
is the key to people realizing that sustainable development is a fundamental
concept for our shared future. Education provides the basic tools to proceed
to the implementation of the SDG and finally succeed this global agreement
that is ambitious, yet hopeful. As today’s students of ASPnet- UNESCO, as
tomorrow’s citizens, you owe to take action for an issue that directly concerns
you, the eradication of poverty and the prosperity of people and the planet.

Η κλιματική αλλαγή είναι μια πραγματική και αναμφισβήτητη απειλή για ολό-
κληρο τον πολιτισμό μας. Τα αποτελέσματα είναι ήδη ορατά και θα είναι κατα-
στροφικά, αν δεν δραστηριοποιηθούμε άμεσα.
Μέσω της εκπαίδευσης, της καινοτομίας και της τήρησης των δεσμεύσεων για
το κλίμα, μπορούμε να κάνουμε τις απαραίτητες αλλαγές για να προστατεύσου-
με τον πλανήτη.
Οι αλλαγές αυτές αποτελούν επίσης τεράστιες ευκαιρίες για τον εκσυγχρονι-

Climate change is a real and undeniable threat to our entire civilization. The
effects are already visible and will be catastrophic unless we act now.
Through education, innovation and adherence to our climate commitments,
we can make the necessary changes to protect the planet.
These changes also provide huge opportunities to modernize our infrastruc-
ture which will create new jobs and promote greater prosperity across the
globe.

Οι καθαροί ωκεανοί και θάλασσες είναι ουσιώδεις για την ύπαρξή μας. Καλύ-
πτουν το 70% του πλανήτη μας και βασιζόμαστε σε αυτούς για φαγητό, ενέρ-
