IDC4 CAR 54.0.0 SOFTWARE UPDATE

IDC4 CAR 54 is the result of a long period of development, during which
TEXA technicians have particularly focused on vehicles of the VAG group
(Volkswagen, Audi) and on BRC, EMER, and LOVATO aftermarket LPG
systems. It is also important to note the addition of the new diagnosis of
the Park Assist system for the Supercar category and in particular for the
various engine types of the Porsche Cayenne model.

As for new software features, version 54 now includes:

- greatly extended diagnostic coverage
- new TEXA APP: OBD MATRIX Solved cases
- TEXAEDU course manuals
- TEXA APP STORE for AXONE 4 Mini

This update includes more than 10.000 total selections, dedicated

to both new diagnostic systems and updated systems for the makes:
ACURA, ALFA ROMEO, AUDI, BMW, BRC, CHEVROLET, CITROËN,
DACIA, DAEWOO, DODGE, EMER, FERRARI, FIAT, FORD, FREIGHTLINER,

Below we have mentioned just a few of the numerous new diagnostic features contained within this
CAR software version, that take into consideration the functions most requested by workshops, and
are dedicated to the most common makes on the market:

In version 54, the make ABARTH has been newly introduced with the diagnosis dedicated to the

OBD MATRIX SOLVED CASES**

The ever-growing
number of electro-
nic systems within
vehicles today brings
with it the critical situation of spora-
dic or intermittent faults occurring and
only revealed in specific driving con-
ditions. If not dealt with immediately,
these faults can compromise the re-
pair technician’s credibility and profes-
sionalism. Thanks to the new TEXA APP “OBD MATRIX solved cases”, the repair technician can now
access a series of detailed sheets that, step by step, explain how certain malfunctions that occurred
in specific vehicles and under particular circumstances, were taken care of using the OBD MATRIX,
the miniaturized TEXA on-board diagnostic tool.

NEW (AXONE 4 Mini)

From the version, IDC4 CAR 54 PM, your AXONE 4 MINI now gives you
the possibility to view the innovative APP’s offered by TEXA; a significant
addition that even further enhances diagnosis.

To activate the APP’s, all you have to do is connect to the Internet,

via a PC, and visit our website myTEXA.com. Register and follow the
simple steps that allow you to activate the APP’s desired.

Once the activation has been carried out the APP’s will be immediately
ready to be used within your tool.

AIRBAG VAG CODING

AIRBAG VAG CODING is TEXA’s
innovative APP that allows you to
calculate, quickly and precisely,
the codes you need in order to
code a new Airbag control unit of the VAG group
(Volkswagen/Audi Group), saving precious time
in the workshop. Just enter the control unit code
indicated on its package in order to receive the
five digit coding code you need for the installa-
tion. In addition, a simple guide illustrates the
operations that must be carried out for a proper
coding of the control unit if it is replaced.
SELF-DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE SHEETS
“Self-diagnostic device sheets”
is the new APP that allows you to
consult a large number of sheets
containing references to system
and vehicle manufacturers directly from the
PARAMETERS page in Self-diagnosis, helping
you better understand the devices that are hard
to interpret. The sheets that can be activated
using this APP simplify the diagnosis process
and make it easier to carry out an operational
check of the various systems installed in the
vehicles.
It is extremely easy to use: click on the
corresponding icon to access the function
“Reference Values”.

This will open a link to the specific sheet for the

component in question, containing diagnostic
and electrical values. The sheets are instantly
available for consultation and are complete with
easy to read reference charts, simple functional
diagrams, wiring diagrams and oscillograms.
All the sheets include a brief description of the
component, with the explanation of the operating
principle required for a better understanding of
the electrical and diagnostic parameters.

QUICK SUPPORT: TROUBLESHOOTING

From version IDC4 CAR 54 the Quick Support function offers a new support tool for the repair
technician: Troubleshooting. This function allows you to create a zip file containing a series of
information relative to the tool and the software used, essential for the TEXA assistance service to
help you solve any problem you may encounter, information such as: System Information Report,
folder LOG IDC4, DxDiag, Export of Tkey (Hasp key).

The zip file, when required, can later be sent via email to the TEXA assistance in order to verify certain
information relative to the situation at hand.

The Troubleshooting icon can be found within the Settings menu.
