(On September 5, 2012, this Court heard an emergency motion brought by Respondent to
have the children removed from Petitioner's care based on the report of Dr, Paul Reitman,
‘After meeting with Petitioner and the children, Dr. Reitman strongly recommended thatthe
children be removed from Petitioner’s care and placed into “therapeutic foster care and
immediately begin therapy and/or deprogramming to try to repair the damage that's been done
by the alienation.” (Sept, 5, 2012 Transcript, p.2.) Dr. Reitman’s August 29, 2012 clinical report
{included the following observations: “[T]he children appear to be very depressed and
browbeaten, Iam very concemed for them remaining in this situation, Their mother seems to be
‘out of touch and suffering from a personality disorder, as well as a mood disorder and the
‘custody proceedings are clearly taking a toll on the children, Its my opinion that although
somewhat unorthodox inthis situation, the children will benefit from being removed from their
‘mother's custody and placed in therapeutic foster home.” (Apr. 19, 2013 Order and Mem.,
