SYAMSUL ADDENNO NATASHA IMAN KOK YEW PUAH

An experienced muralist, Syamsul is the founder of My Art Spaces, which provides
commissioned customised art pieces for living and working spaces. He has worked
with corporations like Resorts World Genting and the Shah Alam City Council; and
created stunning mega murals for various galleries and installations across the country
including contributing to an ‘art garden’ filled with artistic works by local artists.

The artist believes that racial tensions within Malaysia are temporary, and in times
of difficulties, Malaysians always rally together. Against the backdrop of the iconic
Kuala Lumpur city skyline and the Malaysian flag, the word ‘Malaysia’ is spelled
out in sign language by hands of different races, staying true to the phrase
‘together we stand, divided we fall’.
NOR AZIELA BINTI AHMAD
After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts (Honours), Nor Aziela went on to
study and train under Azian bin Hashim of AZ Fine Art to hone her skills as an artist.
Presently, she is based in Kelantan and continues her artistic ventures there.

The artist has incorporated illustrations of flowers and trees into an outline of the city,
symbolising the rapid and spirited development within Kuala Lumpur. Just like how
seeds grow into towering trees with beautiful foliage, the artist believes that the city
will eventually mature and flourish in its own time.
Natasha Iman graduated with a degree in architecture and began drawing at a
very young age. When she was 14, she started to specialise in watercolour
paintings and went to a couple of classes, after which she taught herself. Her
paintings are very detailed and based on social commentary and her own
observations.

Malay kueh (local cakes) is an important facet of local culinary culture, and
popular with all Malaysians. The artist noticed that many of the younger generation
are disregarding these traditional treats, and she wanted to draw attention to the
vivid colours and beauty of our favourite kuehs.
SUZI CHUA
Suzi Chua is a self-taught artist who began her artistic journey at the age of 40
and specialises in painting highly realistic renditions of wildlife and pet animals.
Her forte is painting on stone but her talent and incredible eye for detail translates
just as powerfully on canvas. Suzi is an esteemed leader in the wildlife
conservation community, and her passion for animals and nature is the driving
force behind her art.

The most intelligent of primates, the Bornean Orang Utan, is depicted in all its
natural glory. The artist’s rendition is incredibly detailed with the primate’s distinctive
reddish-brown hair and soulful eyes telling a tale of survival in the wild.

specialises in painting murals, having been painting them since 2013, and is
experienced working across various surfaces and sizes creating fantastic depictions

director at Mural Art-Venture, and has created many commissioned works for large
