Soraya Chemaly, a writer for HuffingtonPost, writes 50 statistics about how families are

impacted from domestic violence. Many female victims of domestic violence has died from

homicides or suicides. If the woman is a victim, she ends up mostly traumatized for the rest of

her life. Kids during domestic violence situations think that is the way to grow up and sets that

standard for them, unless taught later that domestic violence is not right. Men feel untreated or

not in control if they are the victims in the abusing. The writer’s purpose in this article was to

inform society on the effects of domestic violence on families. This article was mostly written

for people who is in a domestic violence relationship or people that needs to be more informed

on how serious domestic violence is. Soraya Chemaly has reliable information on this topic and

has proven statistics in her article. This article will help me with statistics for domestic violence.

I need really good facts and information to improve my paper, so with this website it will help

the documentary, Behind Closed Doors. The documentary is on women who get abused and

manipulated by their partner. The creator of the film, Anna Hall, made this documentary to show

that not only women can be affected by domestic violence. The author is credible because she

states direct information from the creator of the film and she adds other statistics to the article, so

it is more informational. This article helps me prove that not only women are impacted by

domestic violence, but they are most commonly impacted by domestic violence.

their home. Women are most likely murdered by their partner’s who abuse them. The highest-

rate of homicides come from women’s partners. This author is reliable because she is on a

professional platform and she has credible statistics in her article. This article will help me prove

how important it is for women to escape domestic violence relationships, if possible. This

explains how brutally impacted the women are from their partners.

domestic violence for women is mental health problems. Women could also have trouble with

pregnancy if involved in a domestic violence relationship. Domestic violence is a serious topic,

but is mostly not identified because of the troubles it puts women in for speaking out. The

author’s purpose of this article was to test the outcome of women being abused. This author is

credible because he cites his information of where he got it from. He also stays organized and

stays on topic through the whole article. This article will be beneficial to me by having an article

that explains women going through tests after being abused. This articles explains what being

abused could do to your health and how it impacts your life.

domestic violence was. This author is credible because he is using a reliable case study that was

real. He had structure in his article to keep a flow of the article going. The purpose of this article

was to investigate and create hypothesis for the impact of domestic violence on women to figure

out the relationship between family structure and domestic violence. This article helps me have a

start on why domestic violence happens. How does family structure impact the domestic

violence programs help with women and children, who are survivors of domestic violence. The

programs help to increase self-efficacy as they go into the future. The programs provide different

activities to do to build up the confidence for the children and women. The purpose of this article

was to inform survivors of domestic that they are not alone and they have somebody to help with

the traumatizing events of their past. The article is credible because she has a PhD and she

researches her information for facts or statistics. This article will help me with the aftermath of

domestic violence relationships. Many people think there is no way of getting over abuse, so I

wanted to research about it to prove that there is a way.

epidemic. Women are most likely victims of domestic violence than men. Women go through

financial, physical, and emotional abuse with their partners. The purpose of this article is to
explain how domestic violence is a worldwide problem. The author is credible because they have

statistics and structure throughout the article. This article is helpful to me to explain that it is hard

for women to get out the domestic violence relationships and how much more they are affected

from abuse than men.
