Pre lesson

5. Calls the eighth pupil of each group and shows a picture card.
6. The pupil returns to the group and whispers till the first pupil who says the word.
7. The winning team gets a point. Continues till every pupil gets a chance.

2. Teacher tells pupils that they are going to read a story entitled: Rosemary and The Four Gutsy Gnomes.
3. Teacher does coral reading. Teacher reads the story, pupils listen and repeat. Teacher checks on pupils’ pronunciation.
4. In small groups, pupils read the story and highlight the important keywords or sentences.
5. Pupils then sequence the sentences in correct order.
6. In pairs, pupils answer true or false and comprehension questions.
7. Pupils share their answers with other partners.
8. Teacher discusses the answers upon completion.
