LG has entablished in the year 1958. It was founded by two companies, which is Goldstar
and Lak-Hui. That is how the brand “LG” was born. The current famous slogan of LG is “Life’s
Good”, which is a backronym of the brand’s name. By year 2005, LG was nominated as one

the electronic market has many other top competitor brands. In year 2008, LG took their
first step into the solar panel manufacturing to join form with Conergy. They both then set a
deal that, by the end of the year, LG would have a 75% stake in Conergy’s Frankfurt solar-
panel plant. In year 2009, LG bought a low six figures USD for the domain name LG.com. In
year 2012, the anti-rust regulators of European Union fined LG Electronics and many other
big brands in the market for setting a standard price of TV cathode-ray tubes in two cartels
that could last for approximately a decade.

LG has been releasing smartphones since the year 2012 and in the year 2017, the company
has launched G6. With the release of G6 while competing with other smartphone brand
competitors, LG has hired K-POP idol group BlackPink to advertise their product. BlackPink is
the best charting female korean artist, according to Billboard. The members involved are
only four of them which are Lisa, Jennie, Ji Soo and Rose.
