combined survey.
Intelligent Combined Survey (2)
Before intelligent combined survey, global parameter setting is required. After the center point is
determined, the drone takes off and climbs at an even speed. After reaching the specified height, you can tap
the camera icon to confirm height. After height confirmation, move to the next operation such as 360 survey,
circle survey, and tower height confirmation as instructed until the survey task is accomplished.
Note:
By default, a total of 12 photos can be taken for 360 survey or
circle survey. In climbing, the drone flies at a rate of 0.5 m/s by
default.
Drone Survey – Height Survey (1)
The height of the drone can be measured automatically. To measure the height of a tower or building,
align the crosshair on the screen with the target tower or building.
1 On the Height Survey page, tap to open the Height Survey window.

Drone Survey – Top View (1)
By presetting the tilt of the pan (camera) on the drone, you can take a survey photo at a specific azimuth.
By default, the pan (camera) angle is –90°, that is, in the top view.
1 On the Topview window, tap to open the Top View page.
Drone Survey – Orientation Survey (1)
You can implement special orientation survey by presetting the yaw angle of the drone and the pitch
angle of the drone pan. Valid value range of the pitch angle is [–90°,30°].
1 Tap behind the item requiring orientation survey to open the Orientation Survey window.
Drone Survey – 360 Survey (1)
By presetting an interval angle, you can take a 360° panorama by one tap. The interval angle determines
the number of photos that will be taken in a survey. Specifically, if you want to take 1–6 survey photos, set
the interval angle to 60°; if you want to take 7–8 survey photos, set the interval angle to 45°; if you want to
take 8 or more survey photos, set the interval angle to at least 30°. The more survey photos you want, the
smaller the interval angle, the better the survey performance.
1 Tap behind the item requiring 360 survey to open the 360 Survey window.
Drone Survey – Panorama Survey (1)
The height and pitch angle are preset to achieve panorama survey. The pitch angle is fixed to 30°. A
total of 12 pictures are taken.
Indicates the
progress. Taking
4/12 as an example,
it means that a total
of 12 photos need
to be taken, four of
which has been
taken.
Drone Survey – Video Circle Survey (1)
You can implement video circle survey by presetting the height to decline and circle radius. Based
on the obtained video records, the tower condition on the site can be viewed. When the drone
declines to the specified height, the number of recording times is automatically calculated based on
the drone's flight height and the preset height to decline.
1 On the Video Circle Survey window, tap . The Video Circle Survey window is displayed.
Drone Survey – 3D Survey – Manual Survey (1)
By presetting a downtilt and a radius, you can fly the drone around a tower to take sets of photos for
constructing a 3D model of the tower. By default, the angle interval is 15° and downtilt is 30°.
1 Tap survey behind the item requiring microwave survey to open the Microwave Survey window.
Drone Survey –RF Survey_Intellect Count (1)
Antenna photos in different angles (left front, right front, right, left, and front) are taken and automatically
sent back to the ISDP eSurvey TSS web client for further photo processing and automatic antenna downtilt
calculation. RF downtilt measurement can be performed in two modes: Manual and Auto.
The following uses the Manual mode as an example to describe the measurement procedure:
1
Tap behind the item requiring RF Survey_Intellect Count to open the RF Survey_Intellect Count
window.
Tap Auto
to switch to
the Manual
mode.
Drone Survey – RF Survey_Lineation Count (1)
Based on photos taken on the left or right of antennas, you can obtain the downtilt of antennas by
drawing a line along the tower.
On the RF Survey_Lineation Count page, tap to open the RF Survey_Lineation Count
1
window.
Uploading/Downloading Survey Data (1)
After finishing all survey data collection tasks, you can download survey photos and upload them to
ISDP eSurvey TSS for further processing.
Note:
Tap this icon to upload
