with examples.

certain field, teaching skills, didactics certain personal characteristics required by the profession. In
this essay, the reasoning of to what extend teaching can be considered as a professional career will
be discussed.

Firstly, credential and licensing requirements are crucial to enter a profession. There will be
certain credentials to be teacher trainee and the license which will be given when they finished the
study, a qualification or certificate. They undergo 5 years of training in order to achieve the
qualification which determined teaching as a professional career.

Professional development support also makes teaching as professional career since the
teachers undergo training for beginners and it requires in-service development and growth
throughout their careers. Teachers will still undergo certain training, course and workshops during
the service for content and skill enrichment such as ICT course and sports workshops which is fully
support by the government, Ministry of Education.

Lastly, as they shows their professionalism criteria there is a limitation for them as their
authority is restricted in their own classroom only. Teachers can have full control towards their
