METHODOLOGY

This chapter outline the various activity involved in operationalization

the researcher. It covers the researcher design, local of the study, the respondent,
research instrument, data gathering procedure, and statistical treatment of the
data.

RESEARCH DESIGN
The current study used the qualitative design of research. A structured
survey questioner was develop to gathering the needed data . The questioner was
administered personally by the researchers to the respondent in order to get feed
back an information that may help in the interpretation of findings.

RESEARCH LOCALE
The survey was conducted in Tanauan, Leyte, particular in the
following Barangay:Canramos for the reason that it is the nearest rural barangay
and the researchers are from area.

RESEARCH RESPONDENT
The respondent of the stud were the students of senior high school
grade 11 and 12 selected students in barangay Canramos Tanauan, Leyte Namely:
Tanauan school of Craftsmanship and home Industries.

RESEARCH INSTRUMENT
A structure survey questionnaire was designed as research
instrument. To elicit responces to the problems identified in the survey stage, the
questionnaire was composed of two main parts. The first part covers the profile of
the respondent. The second part include the perceptions of the respondent on the
cyberbullying through social media.

DATA GATHERING PROCEDURE

The final selection was arrived using the fish ball technique. And
the researchers personally administered the data gathering through the structure
survey questionnaire developed for this study the three hundred thirty nine (339)
respondents who were students of SHS in Tanauan Leyte namely Tanauan School
of Craftsmanship and Home Industries.
As 100% retrival of the accomplished questionnaires was attained
with the cooperation of the respondents. The data gathered were analyzed using
descriptive statistics through frequency distribution, simple percentages, and
ranking.

STATISTICAL TREATMENT OF THE DATA

The data gathered were analyzed utilizing descriptive statistics
through frequency distribution simple interpretation of the data by using
percentage with the formula as follows:
