“Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and
Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.”
Why would the Lord say this about Egypt? Egypt (James Strong Concordance
Hebrew #4714/4693/4692)-means limit, border of Pal. ,besieged, defence,
fortified. Isaiah 27:10, 12, 13; “Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the
habitation forsaken, and left like the wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and
there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof. (12) And it shall
come to pass in that day, the LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river
unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of
Israel. And it shall come to pass in that day, the great trumpet shall be blown,
and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the
outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at
Jerusalem.” Jeremiah 43:12 says he shall array himself with the land of Egypt.
Assyria, the work of my hands=says they are blessed (Hebrews #804). Blessed,
level, right, straight.
Egypt is with us still, as is Assyria, etc (Isaiah 11:11). Revelation 11:8. This is the
church for today. It has become desolate.
