Dear Parents/Guardians,

Let me introduce myself! I am Ms. Berryman and I am a graduate of Tarleton State

University (Go Texans!!). I have my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6 and all of my
certifications through them as well. I have a wonderful family and have lived in Texas for over 8
years. Before I was a Texan, I lived in Kansas but Texas definitely has my heart now.
I’ve had a passion for education ever since I can remember and hope to continue
teaching for a very long time. I believe that alongside of teaching curriculum and content that a
teacher should put teaching empathy and having a safe and caring classroom at the forefront of
their school year agenda. I hope to be that type of teacher for your children.
I am so excited and consider it an honor to be teaching your children this year, and I am
excited to work alongside of you to ensure that your child receives the best education possible
while they are in my classroom.
4th grade is an exciting grade and time, and I have so much planned to help make your
children the best students and tiny humans they can be, so long as I have your help and
assistance along the way. This year they will learn so much and they will be doing and creating
some very cool assignments and projects! My hope for this year is that your children will look
beyond the surface, discover the deeper meaning, and make connections with the content that
we cover.
I want 4th grade to be a memorable school year for your children in the best way
possible and hope that you will join me on this fantastic 4th grade journey!
I am happy to answer any questions you may have, my contact information is listed
below. I try to answer as quickly as possible but do not get concerned if I do not get back to you
within the hour. I have official conference hours on Mondays and Fridays in the mornings from
7:00- 7:30 and in the afternoons after school from 3:45- 5:45. I am also always available for
conference by appointment, and can do Skype or zoom conference calls as well! I try to make it
as easy as possible to get in contact with me.
