Lesson delivery
2. Direct student’s attention to the pictures and ask them to name the
occupations.
3. Explain to students that they will have to read the sentences and
write the occupation.
4. Then, they have to number the pictures according to the sentences.
ACTIVITIES Post-lesson
6. Direct student’s attention to the picture and ask them to guess what
the two boys are doing.
7. Play the CD and have students chorally repeat the exchange.
8. Explain to students that they have to choose an occupation and
draw it on a piece of paper.
9. Divide students into pairs or in small groups.
10. Students take turns presenting their drawings and saying a few
sentences describing their occupation.
11. While students are doing this, go round the class and make sure
students are using the correct structures.
12. Choose a few students to present their drawings to the class.

ACTIVITIES 1. Refresh the previous lesson by reading one of the pupil’s future
inventions.

2. Teacher distributes incomplete dialogues.
The modified dialogues are taken from the textbook ( page23)
3. Again, pupils listen to a conversation.
4. While listening, teacher directs pupils to fill in the blanks.

1.Hold up the book or stick blown up colour photocopies of the story on

2.Tell students they will listen to and read a story with the title What do

3.Discuss the title of the story and ask students what they want to be .

5. Ask students to look at the pictures and guess what the story is
going to be about .
6.Elicit answers but do not correct students at this stage.
