Appendix 1: Lesson Plan

LESSON PLAN Subject: Math

Trainee Personal Goals:

Firstly, in this lesson, I am working on how to be professional teacher such as, be on time, show respect
and work hard because these are important points to myself since when I be on time I can deal with
everything easily without feel stress. Also, that helps me to be confident with what I teach and how I
transfer the information to my learners on time because the teacher always should take care of her
lesson and focus on time management to achieve the lesson goals. In addition, I believe that if the
teacher shows respectful to her students such as, listen to them, help them and create a creative
classroom environment that helps students love their teacher and avoid misbehaviour. However, I am
working on how to avoid misbehaviour, so I used positive, negative and punishment reinforcement
according to behaviourism theory. Moreover, I will use several methods of interesting writing activities
that help my students feel happy and confident while they work that also keep them understand the
concept of the lesson in an easy way. Finally, I will reflect on my teaching what worked well and what I
need to improve and set some aims for my next lesson.

Lesson Focus
On how to find the coordinate of two points X-axis and Y-axis questions. Also, students will work in 2
different kinds of activities. Firstly, will find the coordinate of two points X-axis and Y-axis questions by
using smartboard so I will use PowerPoint slider to show them the questions. Firstly, I will explain the
meaning of x-axis and y-axis by use PowerPoint slider to show them different kind of example to help
them understand the concept of find the coordinate of two points X-axis and Y-axis. Then, I will choose
students to solve it front the classroom and show them the questions on the PowerPoint slider such as,
what is the coordinate of the apple, what are the two points of watermelon and what are the 2points
of mango so, they will identify the points through looking at the grid include the located of the 2 points.
Secondly, they will work on the worksheet individually to find the coordinate of two point according to
Fortnite map that help them understand the concept in easily and fun way. Lastly, each two students
will get quiz paper about finding the coordinate of two points X-axis and Y-axis and they will work pairs
so that way help the student's interest while they learn and share their ideas about how to solve
questions. In addition, if there is an extra time I will keep them work in last activity which mean
matching the cups of two points X-axis and Y-axis.
Lesson Outcomes

-The Students will be able to solve ordered pairs questions.

-The students will be able to identify the coordinate points (x-axis and y-axis).

-The students will be able to recognize the difference between X-axis and Y-axis.

-The students will be able to find the coordinate points at the end of the lesson.

I will make a revision on multiplication question with the students by showing them the question with
two answers on PowerPoint slider. Then they should be able to choose the correct answer such as six
multiplied by six equal 36 or 46 so they should choose 36.

21st Century Skills

The 21st Century Skills are important points in the teaching and the teachers should focus on these
specific points because its benefit to the students it gives them a chance to produce their actions
through these skills. However, the 21-century skills are critical thinking, communication, collaboration,
and creativity so I believe that each point includes a basic point that could help learners while they
learn. Also, the ability of the students is different so as a teacher should know that the students need to
produce their active and their abstract thinking so through these skills we can give them chance to
learn in the best environment because there are different methods can help them while they learn. For
example, keep students think before we give them the answers, and let them share their beautiful
ideas with their friends that ways can be helpful to them.
