5.Direct students attention to the pictures ask students to say what each of the children are doing.
6.Tell students that they are going to listen to a conversation between a boy and a girl talking about the activities they

days of the week are used.
8.Play the CD once, pausing after each exchange.
9.Play the CD again and have students check their answers.

3. Direct students’ attention to the picture of Alex and Sue and ask them to guess what Alex and Sue are doing.
4.Play the CD and have students chorally repeat the exchange. Have individual students model the exchange.
ACTIVITIES
5.Divide students into groups of four and have them do the activity.
6.Students ask the members in their group when their birthday are , and complete the table with their names and the
months their birthdays are in.
7.When all of the groups are finished , ask a member from each group to share the students’ birthdays with the rest of
the class.

Lesson delivery
3. Direct students’ attention to the pictures on the page and ask them what Tony is doing.
4.Point to the next pictures and ask students what item of clothing they recognize.
5.Make sure students understand that they will make their own season collages.
6.Put the strips of paper with the seasons written on them into the cloth bag. Go around the class and have students
draw a strip of paper each.
ACTIVITIES 7.Explain to the students that they will have to make a collage for the season they have drawn for their country. If they
know enough information about other country , they may make a season collage for that country.
8.Tell students that when they are making their collages they need to think about what kind of clothes people wear in
the season , what sports / activities they do , what weather is like.
9.Hand out magazine pages/ internet printout , cardboard , glue, and scissors to the students.
10.Students can work individually or in pairs/groups.
11.Go around helping students with any difficulties.

2.Ask students to look at the pictures and guess what it’s going to be about.
3.Elicit answers , but do not correct students at this stage.
4.Point to the first three frames and ask them to name the sports they recognise and ask them some questions.
5.Then,direct attentions to the second half of the story and ask them what sports / activities they recognise and ask the
